How to Install the Big Voice Mod in Big Walk?
Automatic Installation
The easiest way to install Big Voice is through a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager.
You have two popular options:
Download and install either Gale or R2ModMan.
Both applications support Big Walk mods through Thunderstore.
Open the mod manager.
Create a new profile or use the default one.
Open the Thunderstore browser inside the manager and search for: Big Voice
Select the mod and press the Install button.
The manager will download both the mod and any other required files.
Once done, don’t launch the Big Walk game directly from Steam; otherwise, it will open the vanilla version of the game.
Instead, press Play inside your mod manager to launch the game.
Manual Installation
If you prefer to install the mods manually, here are the required steps. This process takes only a few minutes.
Big Voice requires BepInEx, which works as the mod loader for Big Walk.
Download the BepInEx IL2CPP Pack for the game.
Extract the zip file into your Big Walk installation folder.
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Big WalkLaunch Big Walk and wait until the main menu appears.
Close the game.
When you launch the game, BepInEx finishes its initial setup and automatically creates the plugins folder.
Many players skip this step and encounter mod issues.
Download the Big Voice ZIP file from Thunderstore using the Manual Download button.
After downloading:

- Locate BigVoice.dll.
- Copy this file.
You don’t need the other files inside the archive.
Paste BigVoice.dll into:

Big Voice stores its configuration in:

If you want to edit the configuration manually, make sure to close the game first, so your changes aren’t overwritten.
Important Warning
Never report bugs to the Big Walk developers when you have installed mods in your game.
First, remove every installed mod and launch the game normally.
If the issue still happens in the vanilla game, then report it as a real game bug.
You should also check the Steam Discussions before creating a bug report. Several known issues already have community fixes, and they may have nothing to do with Big Voice.
