Looking for all Memory Pearls in Frog Island? There are 12 hidden Memory Pearls scattered across the island, and only one pearl can be found in each location.
These pearls are not the same as the pearls you can get while fishing. The Memory Pearls are collectibles that you find as physical objects around the island. Some can be found in plain sight, while others are hidden behind objects or need to be dug out.
I have listed all 12 Memory Pearls below in the same order as they appear in the compendium, along with their locations and hints to help you find them.
What Are Memory Pearls in Frog Island?
Memory Pearls are one of the two collectible types in Frog Island. At the start of the game, you may have found the Sky Blue Pearl near the pond in the Forest Clearing. When you finish the game, Marina will ask you to find all of the Memory Pearls.
These pearls are connected to memories that you can listen to later. After completing the last story quest for the sisters, talk to Marina to listen to the memories stored inside the pearls.
There are 12 Memory Pearls in total, and each one has its own color.
Note: The pearls you get from fishing are different. Those are treasures that can be sold for money and are not part of the 12 Memory Pearl collection.
All 12 Memory Pearl Locations in Frog Island
1. Coral Pearl – Garden Shrine
Type: Diggable
You can find the Coral Pearl hidden in the Garden Shrine.
Since it is hidden, you’ll have to dig it out.
Check the image below for the exact location and where you have to dig.
2. Cream Pearl – Central Isle
Type: End game
The Cream Pearl is found in Central Isle, but you cannot collect it immediately.
This is the only pearl that requires you to finish the game first. After getting all blessings, complete Terra’s quest and check what has changed in the area.
3. Sky Blue Pearl – Forest Clearing
Type: Normal
The Sky Blue Pearl is easy to find, and I guess you may have found it earlier in the Forest Clearing.
If you’ve not collected it yet, there is no need to worry about. Go to the Forest Clearing and check near the pond area.
4. Periwinkle Pearl – Kitchen
Type: Normal
This pearl can be found in the Kitchen. However, it is hidden, and you can’t see it normally until you zoom in on the exact location.
Make sure you’ve completed The Northern Bridge quest. If you go and try to find this pearl without completing this quest, then you will only see a broken pier.
After completing the quest, zoom in and look very closely around the pier.
There, you can find the Periwinkle Pearl in the wooden pier gaps.
5. Cyan Pearl – Volcano
Type: Normal
You can find the Cyan Pearl in the Volcano.
You can not find it with your bare eyes if you don’t know where to zoom. If you want to find it yourself, zoom in and check the corners around the reverse Y section.
Here’s the image with the exact location. You will see how tiny it is and why you were unable to find it.
6. Silver Pearl – Maiden’s Hut
Type: Normal
The Silver Pearl can be found at Maiden’s Hut.
I know you may have searched near the hut area, but the pearl is not there. Zoom in and check the trees above the hut.
The pearl is on top of the first tree at the top-left corner of the screen.
7. Lavender Pearl – Beach
Type: Normal
The Lavender Pearl is hidden around the Beach.
Zoom in around Reed’s shop and check between the third and fourth wooden step.
8. Orchid Pearl – Ruins
Type: Diggable
The Orchid Pearl is found in the Ruins.
This is another pearl that you need to dig up. The exact location where you have to use your shovel is just in front of you.
Dig in the center of the Archway.
9. Magenta Pearl – Flower Fields
Type: Normal
You can find this pearl in the Flower Fields.
Move around the area and check near the palm tree on the right side.
Zoom in, and you’ll find the Magenta Pear tucked with the palm tree.
10. Mint Pearl – Home
Type: Hidden
The Mint Pearl is at Home, but it is well hidden.
You can never collect it normally because it is behind the house. First, see the location of the pearl in the image below, zoom in and hover your mouse over that exact location. Then the pearl will be revealed, and you can grab it.
11. Seafoam Pearl – Pebble Isles
Type: Normal
The Seafoam Pearl can be found in the Pebble Isles.
Zoom in to the third palm tree from the left. You can find the pearl tucked to it.
12. Rose Pearl – Driftwood Shores
Type: Diggable
The Rose Pearl is hidden in the sand at Driftwood Shores.
This is the third and final diggable Memory Pearl. It is hidden in the sand, and you have to use your shovel to dig it up.
Dig near the second small patch of grass from the bottom, and you can find the Rose Pearl.
You don’t have to finish the game first in order to find these pearls. You can dig or collect them once you unlock their region or spawn locations.
Only the Cream Pearl in Central Isle requires you to finish the game. When you get all blessings, complete Terra’s quest and then check what has changed in Central Isle to get this pearl.
The other 11 pearls can be found without this end-game requirement.
Some of the Memory Pearls are extremely well hidden. If you are trying to find them without using the exact locations, zoom the camera in as much as possible.
What Will You Get for Collecting All Memory Pearls?
Collecting all 12 Memory Pearls is required for the The Saint achievement.
The pearls also contain memories that you can listen to through Marina after finishing the last story quest for the sisters.
So if you are going for the achievement or want to complete the pearls collection, make sure you check all 12 locations above.
