Fell & Sell Progression and Resource Farming Guide

Fell & Sell Progression and Resource Farming Guide

In Fell & Sell, you collect resources scattered on the map, and then use them to craft materials like swords, weapons, and other items. You can sell your goods by showing them on the display table in your shop.

If you want to progress faster, then make sure to clear the dungeon, collect valuable materials, craft useful items, and sell the rest. In Levels 1 to 10, you can collect & craft basic materials, while Levels 11-15 are good for farming more valuable resources like Iron, Bloodstones, and Runestones.

You should also keep an eye out for recipes and boss loot if you want some powerful gear later.

Start With the Tutorial

Press the ESC button and open the Tutorials section. From there, you can learn the basics of the game, like what you have to collect, how you have to craft, etc.

After finishing the tutorial, open your Shop and enter the dungeon.

On your first runs, feel free to destroy everything you find. This gives you the basic materials needed for crafting.

If the first floor feels too difficult, return to the Portal and pick up the Shield on the Grave before going deeper.

Once you have some loot, return to the crafting station and make HP and Stamina items.

What to Sell and What to Keep

You don’t have to keep every item you find. Your inventory will fill up quickly, so sell items that you do not need for crafting or progression.

Make sure you keep your HP items and some Stamina items for your dungeon runs.

For the shop bonus, try to craft 3 of each item when you can.

The bonus works like this:

  • 1 item = 100% bonus
  • 2 items = 50% bonus
  • 3 items = 25% bonus

This lets you get the maximum bonus without wasting too many resources.

Push to the First Boss

Keep running the dungeon until you reach the first boss.

After defeating the boss, open the Boss Chests and take the useful loot. If your inventory is full, replace less important items with better ones from the boss loot.

Then leave the dungeon and head back to the crafting station.

At this stage, you should focus on crafting Max Capacity items whenever you have enough resources. Try to make three of each item if possible.

Where to Farm Resources?

You don’t need to farm every resource in the same place. Different floors are better for different materials.

LocationBest Resources
ForestBasic supplies and recipes
Levels 1-5Stone, Leather, Wood, Bones
Levels 6-10Wood, Mushrooms, Glowing Orbs, Goblin materials, Talismans & Idols
Levels 11-15Iron, Gold Ore, Bloodstones, Runestones, and other valuable materials

Levels 11-15 are the best overall farming area if you need valuable crafting materials.

You don’t have to just kill enemies. Instead, destroy everything around you and open crates. Many useful resources can be collected from objects around the dungeon.

Best Resource Farming Spots

Leather

For Leather, check the Forest and Levels 1-5.

Break or search things like:

  • Leather stands
  • Skeletons
  • Beds

Wood

You can get plenty of Wood in the Forest and Levels 6-10.

Explore the area and search for the wooden objects and tree roots. Break them to get wood.

Mushrooms

You can find Mushrooms on Levels 6-10.

Explore the area around the forest, as some grow on the floor. You can also get them from chests, as some of them also contain Mushrooms.

Bones

For Bones, focus on Levels 1-5 and 11-15.

You can get them from Skeleton remains and metal skeleton cages.

Glowing Orbs

You can farm Glowing Orbs on Levels 6-10 and 11-15.

You have to look for the Glowing Orb Plants and also check chests as you explore.

Talismans and Idols

Levels 6-10 are the better choice for Talismans & Idols.

Focus on goblin-related loot while exploring these floors.

How to Farm Iron

Play Levels 11-15 when you need Iron.

You can get it from places like destroying the environment, breaking metal objects, etc.

Look for:

  • Hanging chains
  • Metal urns and vases
  • Candlesticks
  • Standing chandeliers
  • Metal skeleton cages

How to Farm Bloodstones

You can farm Bloodstones on Levels 11-15.

First, you have to search for the floating red crystal shards that are found in the larger rooms. Once you see them, destroy them to get Bloodstones.

Don’t waste your time farming the Bloodstone pedestals on Levels 1-5. They don’t drop Bloodstones.

How to Farm Runestones

Runestones can drop from enemies, but there are easier ways to farm them.

On Levels 6-10, look for the Mana Room. You can trade your mana max capacity there for Runestones.

You can also find Runestones by breaking praying or slain petrified people on Levels 11-15.

Breaking urns can also give you Runestones, so destroy them when you see them.

Other Valuable Resources

For Gold Ore, focus on Levels 11-15 and check the chests.

Alcohol can also be found on Levels 11-15. Search chests and barrels, and use Mushroom crafting when required.

For Recipes, check the Forest and Boss areas. The Forest Fountain and Boss Room chests can give you lots of recipes.

Prepare for the Final Dungeon

Once you have enough materials and stronger crafted items, return to the dungeon and keep pushing forward.

For the first few levels, you don’t need to pick up everything. Focus on the loot that you actually need.

From Levels 6-10, start collecting more materials. Once you reach Levels 11-15, loot as much as you can because these floors have valuable resources.

Keep crafting HP and Stamina items between runs so you can stay in the dungeon longer.

Best Weapons for Bosses

Dual-wielding is a very good option for the later bosses.

If you get Headtaker, try pairing it with a high-damage weapon that also has good stun. An Epic WarHammer or Legendary Maid can work well with it.

The Deadeye Patch is also useful for a critical-hit setup.

How to Finish the Game

Once you have enough HP, Stamina, and good weapons, make your way to the final dungeon.

For one of the later bosses, dual-wield attacks can keep the pressure on even when the boss blocks frequently.

After the final boss, go back to the Grave.

There you can also fight another boss. It isn’t too difficult if you already have good gear and enough healing items.

That’s basically the current progression path in Fell & Sell. The route is simple: Farm the right floors, craft what you need, sell the extra loot, and keep pushing deeper into the dungeon.
