Witch’s Cabin Cleanup is a cozy organizing simulator where you clean up a messy witch’s cabin by returning items to their correct shelves. Potions are among the items you need to organize, but placing them in the wrong order can make the sorting task messier.
If you keep moving potions around but still can’t get your shelves organized correctly, use the potion placement order below. I’ve organized all 288 potions across 24 shelves in six cabinets, so you can find the correct spot for each potion and sort your collection without the guesswork.
How to Place Potions in Witch’s Cabin Cleanup
We’ll be using the Ordered Inventory charm because it makes potion sorting easier by arranging the potions in your inventory in a fixed order. You can use this order to match the potions with their positions on the shelves.
Follow these steps:
- Buy the Ordered Inventory charm.
- Pick up several potions of the same color.
- Scroll to the top of your inventory list.
- Find the correct shelf position for the first potion.
- Place the remaining potions in inventory order, moving from top to bottom and then left to right.
- Pick up another batch of the same color and repeat the process.

Tips for Faster Potion Sorting
- Start from the top of your inventory. This helps you match the first potion with the correct shelf position.
- Carry potions of the same color together. You can sort one batch before picking up the next.
- Follow the same direction every time. Move from top to bottom, then left to right.
- Check the potion names carefully. Use the cabinet lists whenever you’re unsure where a potion belongs.
You can also arrange your shelves however you like. These placement orders are mainly useful if you want to follow your inventory list and spend less time figuring out where each potion goes.
