Mortal Shell II is an action RPG featuring Soulslike combat, challenging bosses, different Shells, and a vast world to explore. This game allows you to interact with different types of weapons, collectibles, hidden secrets, and optional challenges linked to its achievements.
If you are hunting all the Mortal Shell II achievements, I’ve got you covered. Here, I am going to explain how to unlock all the story achievements and also the other ones that need specific actions. Some achievements will unlock naturally from the story, more from unlocking weapons, and some will require exploration or special tasks.
Mortal Shell II Story Achievements
You’re More Than a Weapon
Claim your first Shell, Weapon, and Sidearm.
You will unlock this achievement naturally at the start of the game as you obtain your first Shell, Weapon, and Sidearm.
Home at Last
Reach Marrowkeep.
Enter Marrowkeep for the first time to unlock this achievement.
This is Not an Achievement
Complete Mortal Shell II.
After finishing the game, start a new cycle (NG+) to unlock this achievement.
Boss Achievements
No, You Still Can’t Win
Take the Tar Golem to his Minimum Health.
During the prologue fight against the Tar Golem, reduce its health to 0.
If the cutscene starts before the achievement unlocks, close the game with Alt + F4 before the cutscene finishes. Relaunch the game, and you will return to the last Beacon.
Wheelie Good Time
Defeat Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods.
Find Magdalena inside the Corrupted Gate near the Mushroom Village Gate Beacon.
The gate is in the top section of the map on the eastern side.
Meat’s Back on the Menu, Boys!
Defeat The Lost Child.
The Lost Child is inside the Corrupted Gate near the Stonebled Gate Beacon.
You can find this gate in the northern part of the top section of the map.
Headcase
Defeat The Nameless Captive.
Enter the Corrupted Gate near the Nochtean Gate Beacon.
The gate is on the western side of the top section of the map.
Something in the deep…
Defeat Hexapod.
Defeat the Hexapod inside the Corrupted Gate near the Gate of Mammon Beacon.
The gate is on the western side of the lower part of the map.
It burnssssssssss
Defeat Droeg, the Conquerer.
Find Droeg, the Conquerer inside the Corrupted Gate near the Sester’s Gate Beacon.
The gate is located on the eastern side of the lower part of the map.
Nightmare Fuel
Defeat Sir Isaac, the Scholar-Prince.
The boss is inside the Corrupted Gate near the Gate of Infinity Beacon.
The gate is on the southern side of the upper part of the map.
Lost Your Head
Defeat Orrem, the Reclaimed.
Orrem is one of the three mandatory bosses in the final dungeon. Defeat him to unlock the achievement.
Praise him!
Defeat The Monolith.
Defeat The Monolith, one of the three required bosses in the final dungeon.
Ultimate Gainz
Defeat Malborn Offspring.
Defeat Malborn Offspring, another mandatory boss in the final dungeon.
It’s over now?
Defeat Zmey, the Unbidden.
Defeat Zmey, the Unbidden, the final boss of the game.
Shell Achievements
Shells can be found near Zhirelle (The Shellkeeper). You can also spend Gloom to track their locations.
The exception is Sester Genessa, whose body is hidden somewhere else in the world.
Forever Alone?
Find and unlock Tiel.
Arrival
Find and unlock Proxima.
Vengeance is Mine
Unlock Eredrim.
Heartless
Unlock Gragu.
Go to the bar and talk to Graga. Interact with all of his dialogue.
He will then ask you to bring him a heart. The heart is east of the bar. Follow the marker to the portal that takes you to the temple where the heart is.
Bring the heart back to Graga to unlock the Shell and achievement.

Find and unlock Smert.
Sester
Unlock Sester Genessa.
Go to the eastern lower section of the map and look for the graves.
Look for the area covered with red petals and surrounded by sisters. By the wall, you can find a floating red orb.
Interact with the orb to open a new dimension. Defeat Sister Secunda inside, and you will receive a censer.
Take the censer to Sister Genessa to unlock her.

Find and unlock Sariel.
Down with the Thickness
Complete the objectives to unlock Lazlo.
Shell Seeker
Unlock every Shell in the game to earn this achievement.
Haunting Times
Watch your first Shell Memory.
After obtaining a Shell, watch any of its memories to unlock the achievement.
Decked Out
Reach the maximum bonding tier for a Shell at the Shellkeeper.
Take a Shell to Zhirelle (The Shellkeeper) and increase its bonding level until you reach the maximum tier.
Seeking the Past
Watch all Shell Memories.
Watch every Shell Memory in the game.
This can take around 2–3 playthroughs, including NG+. Make sure to use an interactive map to find the required Glimpses easily.
Weapon Achievements
You can purchase maps showing weapon locations from Merrick in Marrow Keep.
Deep Cuts
Purchase the Axe and Dagger.
Old School
Purchase the Forgotten Crossbow.

Unlock the Veteran’s Battle Axe.

Collectible Achievements
So Fresh, So Clean
Cleanse All Beacons.
There are 49 Beacons in total, but you only need to purify 46 of them for this achievement.
Sat Nav
Find all Map Fragments.
When you start the game for the first time, you will see that the map is covered by fog. You have to remove the fog by unlocking map fragments.
Look for raven icons on the map. These locations contain Map Fragments that reveal parts of the world.
Find all of them to unlock the achievement.
Bring My Ova Back to Me
Collect all of the Ova.
You will collect Ova while exploring the world, cleansing Beacons, and clearing Corrupted Gates.
This achievement will unlock naturally as you work through the game and explore the map.
Stoned
Find every Tarstone in the game.
Other Achievements
Mid Summer?
Enter the Festival.
You can get this achievement right at the beginning of the game.
After spawning, leave the courtyard and talk to Marigold. She will give you a flower wreath. Once you get the flower wreath, the achievement will unlock.
Baghead
You’ve mastered nothing, and this is your reward. Pretty pointless, eh?
Find Baghead and complete his small series of interactions.
- Talk to Baghead and exhaust all of his dialogue.
- Sit next to his followers for a few seconds.
- Talk to Baghead again and choose any dialogue option.
- Pick up the Special Moonshine from the box behind you.
- Put the Moonshine back where you found it.
- Talk to Baghead again.
- Answer “Yes” to all of his questions.
Baghead will then give you his throne, and the achievement will unlock.
Spoiler Map:
Heavy Metal
Play all Lute Tracks in the Game.
Find the Troubadour’s Lute to the right of the One Legged Wolf Beacon.
The lute is on the stage inside the tavern.
Equip it, hold aim, and press X to play. Use the mouse scroll wheel to change tracks. Make sure you play every available track to unlock the achievement.
Peter’s Perfect Parry
Parry each one of The Nameless Captive’s headspins.
Fight the Nameless Captive, who is located in the Corrupted Gate near the Nochtean Gate Beacon.
When the boss’s health drops below 50%, he is able to carry out a 7-hit headspins attack.
To get this achievement, you need to parry all seven spins during the same attack.
Feed Me
Cause Egon to pass away.
You can find Egon at the top of the northwest tower in the courtyard.
Take Gloom and present it as an offering. He may ask for either 10,000 or 20,000 Gloom.
Give him the amount he requests. After accepting the offering, Egon will pass away and return twice the amount of Gloom you spent.
No Lifer
Unlock All Achievements for Mortal Shell II.
Unlock every other achievement in the game to earn No Lifer.
Ascension
Discover the secret of the Mango.
