This DLC adds a new magical library location where you can read, study, write, practice magic, brew potions, and more.
Each new spirit has its own summoning requirements. Some are easy to figure out from the activity and time of day, while others need a specific sound or even a particular Spirit Companion.
Magical Library is a paid DLC, and Spirit City: Lofi Sessions has several DLC packs, so make sure you have this one installed before trying these combinations.
Below, you’ll find the hints for all 13 spirits along with the exact location, activity, lighting, sound, and Spirit Companion you need to summon them. Spoilers ahead!

You can use any lighting option. The other settings do not matter.
2. How to Summon Mantapedia

Hint: There’s something especially cozy about spending a rainy morning browsing the shelves in my little reading nook. One unusual book keeps catching my eye, even though I don’t remember ever placing it there.
The clue mentions sitting in a reading nook on a rainy morning and noticing a strange book that wasn’t placed there. The important parts are the Reading Nook, researching, morning, and rain.
Required Setup:

- Activity: Nook > Researching
- Lighting: Morning
- Sound: Smooth Rain
You don’t need to change anything else.
This one can be easily missed if you use the wrong library activity, so make sure you select Nook > Researching rather than another study option.
3. How to Summon Know-it Owl

Hint: I really need to catch up on my notes to prepare for tomorrow’s exam. I’ll make sure to do it before the sun goes down so I’m not too tired for class. Funny… I keep getting the feeling I’m about to be quizzed already.

4. How to Summon Bookwyrm

Hint: Chapterpillar has been unusually absorbed in our late-night reading sessions. It hangs on every word, and lately I’ve noticed it curling up in its favorite chair for longer than usual. I can’t shake the feeling something is about to change.
By reading the hint, we know that the Chapterpillar is becoming deeply interested in late-night reading and spending more time in its favorite chair.
That means we have to equip Chapterpillar as our Spirit Companion while reading at night.
Go to: Wardrobe > Spirit Companion > Spirit Type > Chapterpillar
Once Chapterpillar is equipped, use the following setup.

5. How to Summon Inkitty

Hint: Inkster has been very helpful as I practice writing with a quill. Although I don’t remember it ever making purring sounds… perhaps something else is leaving those paw-shaped ink stains.

For this summon, we have to practice magic in the morning and look for a missing wand. This points toward the spell-casting activity with Morning lighting.

7. How to Summon Lexicorn

Hint: There’s something satisfying about hearing each key strike the page on this retro machine. As the afternoon sun streamed through the window, I could have sworn the rhythmic clacking had begun to sound like the distant gallop of hooves.
The clue focuses on the sound of keys hitting the page. It also mentions afternoon sunlight and a sound that starts to resemble a galloping horse. The important clues are typing, afternoon, and the clicking typewriter sound.

9. How to Summon Eyedolon

Hint: I thought the evening would be the perfect time to practice a summoning ritual. As I concentrated, I could have sworn I heard the distant sounds of the deep sea. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something beyond the veil was watching me.

First, open: Wardrobe > Spirit Companion > Spirit Type and select Goopii.
Now use the following library setup.

You can use any lighting option.
Make sure Goopii is equipped before starting the activity; otherwise the summon won’t happen.
11. How to Summon Witchwick

Hint: Vootodoo has become fascinated with my cauldron whenever I practice witchcraft. I wonder why the bubbling of the brew seems to hold its attention more than anything else.
The hint mentions practicing witchcraft with a cauldron while Vootodoo watches the bubbling brew. That gives you both the Spirit Companion and sound requirements.
To summon Witchwick, you need to use Vootodoo as your Spirit Companion.

Then return to the Magical Library.
