Want to unlock all the achievements in Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread? You can earn most of the trophies by finding the different hats, beating bosses without taking damage, and completing a few hidden quests.
In this guide, I have shared the locations of all hats, the no-damage boss achievements, and the Brain is Jelly secret achievement. Follow the locations below, and you can go for 100% completion without having to search every area again.
Quiet Old Man
At the start of the game, you will meet Chief Fish during the combat tutorial.
Make sure you don’t follow the full combat instructions. Just attack Chief Fish a few times to skip the tutorial.
Let’s Stay Home
You can get this achievement by finding the lost bread inside Gura’s Home.
Go near the left side of the couch and push it to the right side. There you’ll find a bread hidden underneath the couch.
Pick up the bread by pressing the E button to unlock the achievement.
Ride On Time
This achievement can only be unlocked when you have enough progress through the game. Continue playing through the levels and follow the main route.
Shark Of Many Hats
There are several hats hidden throughout the game’s levels. Some can be easily spotted, while others require you to reach hidden platforms or defeat bosses without taking damage.
Here is the complete hat list and where you can find each one.
Apple Hat
Location: Gura’s bedroom
The Apple Hat is in Gura’s bedroom. You can collect it right at the start of the game.
Propeller Hat
Location: Fish Town
The Propeller Hat is located on a high ledge near the beginning of Fish Town.
Use the nearby mushrooms to jump high enough to reach the ledge and grab the hat.
Ice Cream Hat
Location: Ice Caves
The Ice Cream Hat can be found on a tall cylinder platform around the middle of the Ice Caves.
Jump on the breakable platforms underneath the cave, and then jump onto the mushroom to reach the top platform. Once you see the Ice Cream Hat, go and grab it.
Fish Hat
Location: Ice Caves
Remember our Chief Fish from the Tutorial session? You have to defeat him without taking any damage in the Ice Caves.
Once you do that, the Fish Hat will be rewarded for defeating Chief Fish without taking damage.
Block Hat
Location: Ice Caves
After defeating Chief Fish in the Ice Caves, go to the next area.
Soon, you’ll see many falling pillars. Check the image below for a better look. Now go and jump onto the third pillar. Stay on it until it starts falling.
When you’re going down, you’ll see some mushrooms. Now you have to jump over to the mushroom and use it to reach the Block Hat.
Cat Ears
Location: Calli’s Fortress
Here, you can see a room where the lava is going up and down.
You can also find a skeleton in this area. When the lava goes down, jump down and defeat the skeleton.
It will drop the Cat Ears.
Top Hat
Location: Calli’s Fortress
To get the Top Hat, you have to defeat Lost Shrimp without taking any damage.
If you get hit during the fight, you’ll need to retry the fight. When you successfully kill the Lost Shrimp, it will drop the Top Hat.
Pizza Hat
Location: Calli’s Fortress
After getting the Top Hat, you can find a green bouncing pad in that area.
Use the bounce pads to go across the room. Near the final section, don’t go along the upper route. Instead, fall down and dive toward the lower level.
Important: Enter the break room before going through the circle-shaped door at the top.
Once you pass through that door, it locks behind you, so you won’t be able to return to the break room.
Crown Hat
Location: Calli’s Fortress
Defeat Calli without taking any damage to get the Crown Hat.
This is another no-hit boss challenge, so retry the fight if you take damage.
Shark Hat
Location: Island
The Shark Hat is lying on the rocks in the ocean. You will have to search for it in the ocean.
First, go to a higher platform where you can see the chicken box. From there, jump down toward the rocks and grab the shark hat.
Cowboy Hat
Location: Island
For this hat, you have to go to the waterfall area where you can see a chicken skateboarding.
The Cowboy Hat is at the bottom of the waterfall. So go, jump down, and collect it.
Drill Hat
Location: Island
Defeat Drillby without taking any damage to unlock the Drill Hat.
Make sure you finish the entire fight without getting hit.
Dino Hat
Location: Watson Industries
Look for the small room containing the spiral pattern made from red and blue changing squares.
Make your way to the top of this room. The Dino Hat is lying there.
Smolest Ame
Location: Watson Industries Lab
When you defeat the miniboss with the laser-beam eyes, you’ll enter a dark hallway.
Go toward the end of the hallway, but be careful around the hole near the end.
Don’t fall. Continue to the end to find the Smolest Ame.
Ame’s Hat
This is one of the hardest achievements in the game.
You need to defeat the final form of Ame (Doctor Watson) without taking damage.
Once you defeat him, you can grab Ame’s Hat.
How to Defeat Ame Easily Without Taking Any Damage?
You can make this challenge much less frustrating by handling the boss one phase at a time.
This fight has four main phases:
- Robot Form
- Saucer Blade/UFO Beyblade
- Human Watson/Syringe Throwing phase
- Final phase after injecting the syringes
If you get hit during a phase, pause the game and use Retry Boss when the option is available. This lets you practice and clear individual phases instead of trying to do the entire fight perfectly in one attempt.
For the Ame’s Hat achievement, the final Doctor Watson phase is the important no-damage section.
End Of Game
Bread Hat
The final hat is the easiest one.
You have to just complete the game. After finishing it, you’ll receive the Bread Hat.
Brain is Jelly Achievement
There is also an extra achievement called Brain is Jelly.
To unlock it, roll into walls 30 times.
You can do this anywhere where you can find enough room to repeatedly roll into a wall. Keep doing it until the achievement unlocks.
By checking the hat locations and boss requirements above, you have everything needed to work toward the 100% achievements in Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread.
