Getting into Lois’s bedroom was one of the hardest things for me in House 2. Her bedroom door, the one near the telephone, is always locked, so you can’t just open it. To get the key to the door, you need to kill Lois first. Once died, she will drop the key, and you can use it to access her room.
I had no idea how to get inside without killing her, even though entering Lois’s room is important for several endings, saving Lois, and finding collectibles.
After spending hours trying different things, I finally figured out how to enter her room without the key.
Here’s how you can do it.
How to Enter Lois’s Bedroom
First, go to Melody’s room and pick up the baseball.
Now we have to go down to the basement. The stairs to the basement are on the left side of the telephone area.
But be careful because there is a hungry dog down there. If you go there without food, the dog will attack and eat Tabby.
So, go to the kitchen and bake a pie. Take the pie with you to the basement.
When you reach the dog, put the pie in its bowl. Do this as soon as possible because the dog will attack you if you get too close without feeding it.
Go near the bowl, and when you see the Wi-Fi sign, press the A button. The pie will go into the dog’s bowl, and the dog will start eating it.
Now look above the area where the dog was. There is a small shelf with an anvil on it.
Take the baseball and throw it at the anvil. The anvil will fall down.
Pick up the anvil and leave the basement.
Go to the telephone and order a pizza by calling 888-8888.
As soon as you order it, go straight to the kitchen and drop the anvil there. This will make a knife fall down near the fridge.
Be careful around the fridge because there is water on the floor. If you slip there, Tabby can die.
Now go to the main door. Your pizza should have arrived.
Take the knife, anvil, and pizza and go upstairs.
Go into the room next to the stairs and open the wardrobe. There is a clown inside.
Use the knife to stab the clown. The clown will deflate, and you will find a ladder inside the wardrobe.
Climb the ladder to reach the attic.
There you will find the horse. Put the pizza in its bowl immediately; otherwise it will attack and eat you.
After feeding the horse, bring the anvil into the attic.
Near the horse’s bowl, you will see a light brown square area on the floor. This is weak wood and can be broken.
Take the anvil there and drop it on the weak wooden floor several times.
After around three or four drops, the wood will break.
Tabby will fall through the floor. Go to the left door, and you’ll enter Lois’s bedroom.
That’s it. You can now save Lois, find the collectible, or do whatever you need to do inside her room.
If you want to get out of the room, go to the bottom left side, and you’ll come out of the door near the telephone area.

You Need to Be Fast
There is one important thing to remember. You have to do all of this while also keeping the other family members and other characters alive if you are going for a pure ending.
You don’t get much time if your only goal is to reach Lois’s bedroom. If family members keep dying while you are doing these steps, anything can happen. The shadow creature can kill you, Lois herself can kill you, or you can even fall and die yourself.
It took me at least 10 tries to finally get into Lois’s room.
I made this guide mainly for players who only want to enter Lois’s bedroom because there is a collectible inside. If you are also stuck at the locked door near the telephone, these are the steps that you have to follow to enter Lois’s room.
