DinoBones: Tidy Up the Museum – All 9 Coin Locations

DinoBones: Tidy Up the Museum! is a cozy skeleton restoration sim where you identify, collect, and piece together around 2,000 scattered dinosaur bones. The museum also has 9 hidden coins, and if you are looking for them, this guide is meant for you.

You can not find the coins easily because they blend into the background, and if you don’t know where to look, you can walk right past one without noticing it. I had the same problem with the T-Rex and front door coins, even though I had already been through those areas several times.

Here are the coin locations I found in DinoBones: Tidy Up the Museum.

Note: You cannot pick up any coins until you unlock the Coin Press Machine.

1. Kento Coin

The first coin is the one that starts the Coin Press Machine.

In this case, it becomes available after you complete the Kentrosaurus’ spine. Once the spine is fully complete, follow the Kentrosaurus clue and uncover the souvenir coin machine.

Once done, the Coin Press Machine will start, allowing you to pick up the other coins around the museum.

The exact order may vary depending on how you progress, but this is the coin that unlocks the coin-collecting mechanic.

2. Workshop Coin

Enter the Workshop and look at the top edge of the plant pot.

The coin is lying on the top bevel of the plant pot.

3. Front Door Coin

Leave the Workshop and head toward the main entrance gate.

As you exit the Workshop, look to the right side of the entrance. There are two decorative pillars near the gate. The coin is sitting on the beveled base of the right-side pillar.

There is light coming up from below the pillar, which makes the coin harder to notice from a distance. This is one of the coins that is very easy to walk past.

4. Coin Behind Pachycephalosaurus

Go near the Pachycephalosaurus and check the statue behind it. This statue is on the left wall next to the Workshop.

There are several similar statues around the museum, so check the statue that is specifically behind the wall connected to the Workshop. Look underneath it to find the coin.

5. Coin Near Kentrosaurus

Go upstairs to the area with the Spinosaurus and Kentrosaurus exhibitions.

On the right side, look for the Monster of the Past poster hanging on the wall.

Check the floor directly below the poster. You will see a box there, with the coin lying on the right side of the box.

6. Coin Near Mammoth

Go upstairs to the Mammoth exhibition.

You will find a trash can on the left side with the word “Push” on it. The coin is lying on the floor beside the trashcan.

I originally thought this object was some kind of old fire hydrant, but it is actually a trashcan.

7. Coin Behind Parasaurolophus

Go to the Parasaurolophus exhibition.

Now check the pallet just behind the dinosaur statue. The pallet has four bones on it.

Check behind the pallet, and you’ll find the coin.

8. Coin by the Triceratops Podium

Head over to the Triceratops exhibition.

Check the left side of the podium. The coin is lying on the floor next to it.

9. T-Rex Coin

Go upstairs to the Tyrannosaurus (T-Rex) exhibition.

Now go to the right side and look at the base of the pillar. The coin is lying on the beveled top edge of the pillar base.
