In DinoBones: Tidy Up the Museum!, you’ll spend most of your time picking up dinosaur bones and putting skeletons back together. But the museum has more to offer than just the skeletons, and you’ll find plenty of other things to do as you explore it.
Some achievements will pop up as you build a skeleton, while others need you to check the Workshop, find special items, take photos, play the dinosaur cassettes, or collect the souvenir coins.
A few also unlock as you complete specific parts of a dinosaur, so you don’t always have to finish the entire skeleton first. Here are all the DinoBones: Tidy Up the Museum achievements and how to unlock them.
Progress Achievements
These achievements track how many bones and skeletons you have placed in the museum.
Perfect Fit
Achievement: Place your first bone in the right slot.
Before you can place bones, you need to fix at least one of the metal supports. The game calls these supports carriers.
You can see some bubbles on each carrier. Press and hold E on every bubble five times to repair it fully. Once the carrier is fixed, you can start placing bones on that skeleton.
I fixed all nine carriers first, but you only need one to start working on the skeletons.
Placing the larger bones from the pallets first can also give you more room around the exhibit.
Solid Foundations
Achievement: Straighten all nine steel supports.
Repair all nine carriers around the museum.
Hit every bubble on each carrier five times. You will know when one is finished because the carrier changes visually and the game plays a short piece of music.
Once all nine are fixed, the achievement will unlock.
A Hundred Good Bones
Achievement: Place 100 different bones in one museum.
Place 100 bones in the museum.
The wording says “different bones,” but the exact meaning isn’t completely clear. But you have to just keep placing bones across the exhibits.
You will get this naturally while working toward the larger skeleton achievements.
A Bit of Everything
Achievement: Place at least one bone in each of the nine exhibits.
You only need to place one bone in each dinosaur exhibit.
There are nine exhibits in total, so place a bone in every one of them, and the achievement will unlock.
Taking Shape
Achievement: Place 500 different bones in one museum.
Place 500 bones across the museum.
You don’t have to do anything special for this one. Keep rebuilding the skeletons, and you will unlock it naturally.
A Thousand Pieces
Achievement: Place 1,000 different bones in one museum.
This works the same way as the 100 and 500 bone achievements.
Keep placing bones as you rebuild the nine dinosaurs. You will reach 1,000 while working toward the later achievements.
Room for Three
Achievement: Complete three different skeletons.
Make sure to fully complete three dinosaur skeletons.
The achievement counts a skeleton once you have placed all of its required bones.
Quite a Collection
Achievement: Complete six different skeletons.
Complete six different dinosaur skeletons.
There are nine dinosaurs in total, so this is another progress achievement that comes naturally as you continue through the museum.
Above It All
Achievement: Complete the Brachiosaurus skeleton.
Complete the Brachiosaurus, which is located in the middle of the museum.
You only need to finish the skeleton itself for this achievement.
BinoBones
Achievement: Complete all nine skeletons.
Complete every dinosaur skeleton in the museum.
The nine dinosaurs are:
- Kentrosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Triceratops
- Mammoth
- Spinosaurus
- Pachycephalosaurus
- Parasaurolophus
- Pteranodon
- Brachiosaurus
This is one of the main progression achievements, so you will naturally work toward it while completing the museum.
Achievements From Completing Specific Skeleton Parts
A few achievements can be unlocked before you finish the entire museum.
Hammerhead
Achievement: Pick up the hammer that falls when the Brachiosaurus’s head is complete.
Complete the Brachiosaurus head.
The head only needs its two pieces. You can find both pieces in this crate:
Once you place them, a hammer will fall down. You’ll also see a notice on your screen saying that “Something fell.”
Pick up the hammer to unlock the achievement.
Frill Seeker
Achievement: Follow the light from the Triceratops frill, open the workshop cabinet, and collect the watering can.
For this one, work on the Triceratops head.
You need to place the skull and all the triangular spikes called Epoccipitale. You do not need to finish the teeth or the other smaller head pieces.
Once the required parts are in place, follow the light to the Workshop. Open the cabinet and pick up the watering can.
The Epoccipitale pieces are spread across two crates, and you can find them by checking the image below.
A Greener Museum
Achievement: Grow every museum garden to full size at least once.
First, get the watering can from the Frill Seeker achievement.
Then use it on every green grass exhibit in the museum. The plants do not need to be watered at a specific stage, and you don’t need to reach a certain percentage before watering them.
The Mammoth exhibit does not count because it uses snow instead of a grass garden.
I would also avoid watering the exhibits too early. The plants can make smaller bones harder to see, so make sure to finish the skeleton first and deal with the gardens afterward.
Mammoth Snow Globe Achievements
Snowed In
Achievement: Dig the snow globe out of the Mammoth’s snowdrift.
The exact Mammoth progress needed for this is not completely confirmed, but the snow globe appears once the Mammoth is partially built, around 50%.
Check the snowdrift around the Mammoth. The snow globe will sparkle when it is ready.
Hold the snow globe and dig it out of the snowdrift.
Right at Home
Achievement: Set the snow globe down on a suitable surface beside the Mammoth exhibit.
After you get the snow globe, take it to the Mammoth exhibit.
Place it on the ledge beside the Mammoth’s snowy area as shown in the image below:
Pteranodon Achievement
From Wing to Wing
Achievement: Collect the glider revealed by completing the Pteranodon’s wings.
Complete the Pteranodon’s wings to reveal the glider.
The wing requirement includes the fingers. There is also a duplicate Os pteroideum dextrum piece that the game counts as part of the wings.
The two pieces are:
- Os pteroideum dextrum
- Os pteroideum dextrum 2
The duplicate is important because both pieces are required even though they are the same part.
The wing parts are:
- Metacarpale dextrum · Digitus 4
- Metacarpale sinistrum · Digitus 4
- Phalanx manus dextra · Digitus 4 · (1 – 4)
- Phalanx manus sinistra · Digitus 4 · (1 – 4)
- Phalanges manus sinistrae · Digitus (1-3)
- Phalanges manus dextrae · Digitus (1-3)
- Os pteroideum dextrum
- Os pteroideum dextrum 2
- Os pteroideum sinistrum
- Radius dexter
- Radius sinister
- Ulna dexter
- Ulna sinister
- Humerus dexter
- Humerus sinister
Once the game thinks that the wings are complete, collect the small glider that appears.
T. Rex Model Achievements
Who’s There?
Achievement: Collect the first model piece from the hole under the rug beside the Tyrannosaurus rex.
First, complete the T. Rex skeleton.
Then go to the red rug near the stairs beside the T. Rex. There is a hole underneath it containing the first model kit pieces.
Hold E to fold the rug, then collect the pieces from the hole.
Built by Hand
Achievement: Connect every piece of the model kit in the Workshop.
After completing the T. Rex, collect the model kit pieces from under the rug.
Take them to the Workshop and place them together on the workbench.
You just have to connect the pieces to build the model and it will look like this.
Cat Achievement
Come On In
Achievement: Open the cat flap and let the cat into the museum.
Complete the Spinosaurus skeleton.
Once it is fully complete, go to the museum’s front door. Look for the small cat flap at the bottom of the door.
Hold E to open the cat flap, and the cat will enter the museum.
Cassette Achievements
On the Record
Achievement: Follow the Parasaurolophus call and open the cassette cabinet.
Complete the Parasaurolophus head.
You need the cranium and mandible for this.
The Cranium (head) is in this crate:
And the mandible (jaw) is in this crate:
Once the head is complete, follow the sound from the Parasaurolophus to the Workshop.
The cassette cabinet will open, giving you access to all nine cassettes.
The Full Playlist
Achievement: Play all nine cassettes at their matching exhibit kiosks.
Take each cassette from the Workshop and place it at the kiosk for the matching dinosaur.
The cassette will start playing automatically once you place it correctly.
You don’t have to stand there and listen to the whole recording. The dinosaur’s call only plays when you are close enough to the kiosk.
Do this for all nine exhibits.
Photo Achievements
Lights, Camera
Achievement: Follow the light from the skull dome, open the Workshop drawer, and collect the camera.
You only need to place one bone to trigger this.
Use the Pachycephalosaurus head bone from this crate.
Once you place it, follow the light to the Workshop.
Open the drawer and collect the camera.
Say Meow
Achievement: Take a photo with the cat visible in the frame.
You need the camera and the cat first.
For the camera, complete Lights, Camera.
For the cat, complete Come On In by finishing the Spinosaurus.
Once both are available, take a photo with the cat somewhere in the frame.
Once done, the achievement will unlock.
Small Wonders
Achievement: Take a photo with your assembled T. rex model and the snow globe both in view.
You need three things:
- The camera
- The assembled T. Rex model
- The snow globe
Complete Lights, Camera for the camera, Who’s There? and Built by Hand for the T. Rex model, and Snowed In for the snow globe.
Put the T. Rex model and snow globe in the same view and take a photo.
Museum Portraits
Achievement: Photograph each of the nine completed exhibits.
Complete all nine dinosaur skeletons and take a photo of each finished exhibit.
Make sure that the skeleton is fully completed.
I don’t know whether you have to pin all nine photos to the Workshop board or not. A player reported that they didn’t get the achievement even after taking many photos of each completed dinosaur.
So, to be safe, pin all nine completed dinosaur photos on the Workshop board.
Coin Achievements
There are nine souvenir coins hidden around the museum.
You cannot pick up the coins until you unlock the Coin Press Machine.

The Big Reveal
Achievement: Follow the Kentrosaurus clue and uncover the souvenir coin machine.
Complete the Kentrosaurus’ spine.
Once the spine is complete, it will show you a clue that leads you to the Coin Press Machine.
This will also allow you to pick up the hidden coins around the museum.
No Empty Slots
Achievement: Place all nine souvenir coins in the album.
Collect all nine coins and use the Coin Press Machine to stamp them.
Then place all nine souvenir coins in the album on the wall inside the Workshop.
The coins are not tied to a specific dinosaur. They follow the order of the album instead.
The reported order is:
- Kentrosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Triceratops
- Mammoth
- Spinosaurus
- Pachycephalosaurus
- Parasaurolophus
- Pteranodon
- Brachiosaurus
More Than a Skeleton
Achievement: For one species, finish its skeleton, add its coin to the album, and play its cassettes.
Choose any one of the nine dinosaurs and complete all three requirements:
- Fully complete its skeleton.
- Add its souvenir coin to the Workshop album.
- Play its cassette at the correct exhibit.
The coin does not have to match the dinosaur itself. The coins are stamped in the album’s fixed order.
The Kentrosaurus is a useful one to start with because completing its spine unlocks the Coin Press Machine.
The Curator’s Signature
Achievement: Complete all nine skeletons, fill the coin album, and play all nine cassettes.
This is the big completion achievement.
You need to:
- Complete all nine dinosaur skeletons.
- Collect and stamp all nine souvenir coins.
- Put all nine coins into the Workshop album.
- Collect all nine cassettes.
- Play every cassette at its matching dinosaur exhibit.
The nine dinosaurs are:
- Kentrosaurus
- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Triceratops
- Mammoth
- Spinosaurus
- Pachycephalosaurus
- Parasaurolophus
- Pteranodon
- Brachiosaurus

The number of bones needed changes from one dinosaur to another. These are the progress numbers provided for each skeleton:
