In Chapter 4 of Challenge 6, you need to recreate the events of the 1978 Halloween movie in the right order. A lot of players are stuck here because even a small mistake can stop the challenge from counting.
You have to do the whole sequence in the right order in a single run. Don’t restart the mission once you’ve started, as doing so can forget or untrack your progress. If you did something wrong during the challenge, go and restart; otherwise, the challenge will not be complete.
I also recommend playing on Normal difficulty. There’s no reason to make this harder unless you are sure you can complete this challenge in a single attempt without doing anything wrong.
Here’s the step-by-step walkthrough for Halloween: The Game Chapter 4 Challenge 6.
1. Kill Annie at the Wallace Residence
Start the challenge and go straight to the Wallace Residence. When you reach the house, a cutscene will play, and you’ll get your objectives on the screen.
There, you have to kill Lester, the dog, before Annie comes out of the house. The dog can be found roaming around the house, so make sure to check the front and right side of the house.
Once you find the dog, get closer, and he will try to attack you. Kill the dog, and you can leave him there, but make sure Annie doesn’t see it. If she sees you killing the dog, then you are done, and you’ll have to restart the challenge.
Now watch Annie inside the house and wait for her to come outside. When Annie comes out of the house, she usually goes to the outdoor laundry room. Stalk her whenever you get the opportunity. When she is inside, lock the door of the laundry room.
Now wait and watch her from a distance. Do not let Annie see you. You can hide inside the car if you can’t find a spot to take cover.
Annie will try to escape through the window, just like in the movie. She will go inside the kitchen, the telephone will ring, and a cutscene will play.
After the cutscene, hide behind the tree for a moment and let Annie move near the car.
Kill Annie
Use Shape Jump and get near the car, but don’t get inside immediately. Annie will realize that she forgot her keys and go back upstairs. Wait until she turns the corner and is out of sight.
Now get inside the car. All you have to do is just wait for Annie to come back downstairs. She’ll walk over to the car and get inside.
Now you don’t have to do anything because the kill is a cutscene, and it will start as Annie enters the car.
Hide Annie’s body
Take Annie’s body upstairs after the execution. Go to the bedroom and hide her body in the closet.
Make sure you also turn off the lights in the bedroom or nearby areas because it can make the next execution a lot easier.
2. Kill Bob and Lynda
Bob and Lynda will arrive at the house after Annie’s death. Switch back to the shape jump form, go downstairs, and hide inside the closet near the front door.
Now start using the Stalk abilities and stalk both of them until Level 3.
If Bob’s stalk meter isn’t showing up, move your camera around a little. Look toward the campfire while zoomed in. You can also look to the left and slowly move the camera toward Bob until you hit his stalk area.
Once your stalk is at Tier 3, the telephone will ring, and Lynda will pick up the call.
They’ll go upstairs, and a cutscene will start.
Kill Bob in the Kitchen
When the upstairs cutscene is over, Bob will go downstairs in the kitchen.
Wait until Lynda closes the bedroom door, and then use the Shape Jump to get down to the kitchen.
Go near the exit door and hide inside the closet. Now wait for Bob, and he will come near the closet. Do not grab him when he is looking at the closet.
Bob should already have the required stalk level from the earlier scene, so there’s no need to keep stalking him from the closet.
After some time, he will go to the fridge, and when he’s drinking the water, exit Shape Jump and grab him.
Take him near the exit door, pin him to the door, and then execute him.
After killing him, take Bob’s glasses from his face.
Before leaving, check the door leading upstairs. Make sure it’s closed. If it’s left open, Lynda can sometimes spot you when you move around.
Kill Lynda With the Phone
Now go upstairs and enter the room on the right side. It’s the first room on the right when you walk up the stairs. There you can find a sheet on the bed.
Put on the sheet and enter Lynda’s room.
Stalk her until she reaches Level 3.
Grab Lynda and take her near the phone for the execution. You can also wait until she goes to the phone herself. When she is near the phone, start the execution.
The phone will connect to Laurie’s home, and she will know that something is wrong at Annie’s. Now you have to hide the bodies before Laurie comes to the house.
Hide the lovers’ bodies
Now go downstairs to the kitchen where you executed Bob. Take his body and go upstairs.
Throw the body on the bed in the same room in which you executed Lynda.
Now a cutscene will start.
Before going downstairs, make sure the room where you picked up the sheet is closed. Don’t skip this. If you leave that room open, then Laurie will escape through the window and ruin the sequence.
3. Stalk Laurie
Return to the closet near the front door and hide inside. Laurie will arrive at the house soon and start looking for Bob and Annie.
Stay inside the closet and stalk Laurie until she reaches Level 3.
Now follow her when she goes upstairs. Let her see your art.
Laurie will discover the bodies and sob.
Go near her and grab her only once, and then leave her.
She’ll push you away and run out of the house. Let her go and follow her.
4. Follow Laurie to Her House
Follow Laurie all the way to her house. She will enter the house and close the door.
Punch through the door and find her. She is hidden in a closet next to the kitchen. If she is not there, then make sure to check other nearby closets.
Pull Laurie out of the closet.
Now stab her only once.
This part is very important.
That’s it. Don’t attack her again.
She’ll run upstairs and hide inside the closet in the red room.
Follow her upstairs and pull her out of the closet.
This time, do not hit her. Grab her instead.
When you are grabbing her, she’ll stab Michael with the clothes hanger.
That’s it!! You have completed the entire sequence correctly, and the Chapter 4 Challenge 6 is now complete.
Follow Laurie to start the cutscene. This is all you have to do to recreate the movie’s plot and finish the challenge.
If the challenge is not completed, then you may have done something out of order, and you’ll need to retry.
