In Neat!, you help people bring their messy spaces back under control. You’ll clean up rooms, sort books and food, arrange decorations, and put every item back where it belongs.
You’ll start with Grandma’s Room and then move through a streaming room, a library, a convenience store, and more. Some chapters also have small hidden interactions and achievements that you can easily miss.
This Neat! walkthrough will cover all eight chapters, To-Do objectives, hidden interactions, and achievement requirements so you can complete each room without missing the important stuff.
Chapter 1: Grandma’s Room
Grandma’s room has five To-Do objectives. You will also unlcok a few achievements by doing the specific tasks.
1. Clear Away the Trash
Pick up all the trash around the room and throw it into the garbage.
2. Sort the Yarn
You need to find 6 pieces of yarn and return them to the yarn box.
Pick up each piece and place it in the box until the counter reaches 6/6.
Achievement: Knit Happens
3. Serve the Tea
Find all the items needed for the afternoon tea setup and place them in their correct positions.
Complete the setup until the objective reaches 100%.
Achievement: Tea Time
4. Sort the Plants
Organize all of Grandma’s plants and put them in their proper places.
5. Sort the Books
Pick up the books around the room and return them to their correct locations.
After completing all five objectives, you will finish Grandma’s room.
Achievement: Cozy Perfection
Chapter 2: The Streaming Room
The streaming room has six To-Do objectives.
1. Set Up Devices
Find the streaming equipment and electronics around the room.
Place each device in its proper position at the streaming setup.
2. Sort the Food in the Fridge
Open the refrigerator and organize all the food inside.
3. Arrange Decor
Place the decorative items around the room where they belong.
4. Set Out the Cat Treats
Find the cat treats and place them for the cat.
You can also pet the cat to unlock an achievement.
Achievement: Cat Person
5. Set Up the Webcam
Place the webcam above the display on the streaming setup.
Achievement: Face Reveal?s
6. Hang the Instant Photos
Collect the instant photos and hang them on the wall above the desk in their designated spots.
Once all six objectives are complete, the streaming room is finished.
Achievement: Live in 3… 2… 1…
Chapter 3: Ghost Party Room
This chapter has four To-Do objectives and several achievements.
1. Place Sponge on Ghostly Trace
Find the sponge and use it on the ghostly trace in the room.
Achievement: Nothing to Hear
2. Play the Record
There is a small interaction you should do before playing the record.
First, click on the record player while it has no record on it.
Then find the record, place it on the player, and start the music.
Achievements: Boo-gie Time, Crime? What Crime?
3. Light the Fireplace
Find the logs and place them in the fireplace.
Then light the fireplace.
4. Set Up the Party
Place all the party-related items in their correct positions around the room.
Complete the To-Do list to finish the chapter.
Achievement: Definitely Not Haunted
Chapter 4: Single Guy’s Room
There are three To-Do objectives in this room.
1. Build the PC
Find the computer components and assemble the PC by placing everything to their proper places.
Achievement: Touch Grass… Later
2. Clear Away the Trash
Pick up all the trash around the room and put it in the garbage.
3. Hang the Posters
Take the posters and hang them anywhere on the wall.
After completing all three objectives, you will finish the room.
Achievement: Room Reboot
Chapter 5: Kitchen
The kitchen has five To-Do objectives.
There is also a secret achievement, Professional Mover, which you can unlock by picking up the same item for 15 times. You can do this at any point during the game.
1. File the Documents
Find the binder and the 6 loose documents.
Place all six documents into the binder to complete the task.
2. Sort the Cutlery
Use the green organizer for the regular forks, knives, and spoons.
The green baby spoon does not go into these slots.
Put the larger cutting knives in the knife block.
3. Hang the Strainer
Find the strainer and hang on the wall hook.
The room also has extra hooks inside boxes that can be used.
4. Organize the Dishes
Put all the dishes away in the kitchen cupboards.
5. Place Eggs in Container
Take the eggs and place them into the container inside the refrigerator.
Complete all five objectives to finish the kitchen.
Achievements: Chef’s Kiss, Paper Trail, Professional Mover
Chapter 6: The Library
The library has six To-Do objectives, including a few tasks that need more attention.
1. Sort All the Books
Return all the books to the shelves.
You also need to organize the magazines in the magazine rack.
2. Piece Together the Pattern
Some books have designs on their covers. Arrange these books in the correct order to complete the pattern.
This task is tied to an achievement, so watch the book designs while organizing the shelves.
Achievement: Librarian’s Nightmare
3. Clear Away the Trash
Pick up everything that needs to be thrown away and put it in the garbage.
4. Sort the Records
Organize the records and place them in their proper place.
The order does not matter for this objective.
5. Put the Volumes in Order
Find the six labeled volumes.
They are numbered 1 through 6, so place them on the bookshelf in that order.
6. Spell Neat
Find the letters N, E, A, and T and arrange them so they spell NEAT.
Achievement: Now That’s Neat
After completing the entire To-Do list, you will finish the library.
Achievement: Silence, Please
Chapter 7: The Convenience Store
The convenience store has six To-Do objectives. There is also a hidden interaction you should do before starting the main tasks.
Hidden Achievement: Occupied
Go to the bathroom door and try to unlock it using the keys.
Do this before working through the To-Do list to get the hidden achievement.
1. Set Up the Coffee Area
Use the brown shelf to organize the coffee supplies.
Place the lids, straws, syrups, and other related items in their proper positions. Check the image below.
2. Sort the Drinks
Organize the drinks and place them in the proper positions. Check the image below.
3. Organize the Candies
Sort all the candy and put each item in its correct place. Check the image below.
4. Organize the Magazines
Check the image below.
5. Organize the Pastries
Place the pastries in their proper locations. Check the image below.
6. Wipe Up the Puddle
Take the sponge and use it on the puddle to clean it up.
Complete all six objectives to finish the convenience store.
Achievements: Just One More Snack, But First, Coffee, Occupied!
Chapter 8: Molly’s Room
Molly’s room is the final chapter. It starts with two To-Do objectives, but a third one appears after you complete them.
1. Organize the Stationery
Find the brown organizer and place the stationery items inside it.
This can include items such as pens, scissors, and a retractor.
Achievement: Stationery Addict
2. Arrange the Souvenirs
The souvenirs are labeled, so place each one on the shelves above the desk.
Achievement: Souvenir Hunter
3. Sort the Stickers by Color
After completing the first two objectives, this task will appear.
Sort the stickers by color.
Complete the final objective to finish Molly’s room and the game.
Achievement: This Is Just the Beginning!
