If you’re looking for a complete Out of Touch walkthrough, this guide covers every chapter from Chapter 0 to Chapter 37. Most chapters are story-focused, but some have free roam sections, important choices, combat sequences, and optional events that unlock extra scenes.
This walkthrough follows the game’s progression in order so you can complete the story without missing important content.
Chapter 0
There are no choices or gameplay sections here.

Chapter 1
This chapter is entirely story-based.
- Continue reading through all dialogue scenes.
Chapter 2
Skip ahead through the opening story scenes until the first Free Roam starts.
Jamie Free Roam
Start your exploration at Shouri Park.
Visit every available location before moving further.
Once you’ve explored all areas:
- Go to Café Colombia
- Meet Allie
- Return to Shouri Park to finish the free-roam section.
CJ Free Roam
Follow this exact route:
- Start at Shouri Park
- Travel to Tachibana Avenue
- Talk to the girls
- Return to Shouri Park
- Speak with the cursed girl
- Go back to Tachibana Avenue
- Talk to the girls once again
After completing these conversations:
- Visit the Old Neighborhood
- Select Visit Victoria’s Sister to continue the story.
Chapter 3
Continue through the story scenes.
As you talk to Leah and Victoria, don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
Your answers here do not affect progression.
Chapter 4
Just continue with the dialogue.
Chapter 5
Continue through the story until the chapter finishes.
Chapter 6
No special events occur here.
Just progress through the story.
Chapter 7
Continue reading until Free Roam becomes available.
CJ Free Roam
Visit at least five different locations.
At every location, choose:
- Talk
If you want to experience every available event in future chapters, it’s recommended to visit every location, not just five.
When you’re ready to continue:
- Go to School District
- Select Walk Victoria Home
When prompted:
- Choose Go For It
Do not skip this event.
Chapter 8
Simply continue through the story.
Chapter 9
No special choices.
Chapter 10
Progress through all story scenes.
Chapter 11
Continue until the chapter ends.
Chapter 12
No choices.
Chapter 13
Continue through all dialogue.
Chapter 14
Keep progressing through the story.
Chapter 15
This chapter introduces combat.
Combat 1
Attack the red enemy repeatedly.
A cutscene will eventually trigger.
The following combat encounter is optional, so you may either play it or skip it.
Combat 2 Strategy
Your priority is filling Sarah’s Mana before dealing damage.
CJ’s Turn
Use the following sequence:
- Magic
- One on One
- Target Aine
- Magic
- One on One
- Target Aine
- Guard
Switch to Sarah
Perform:
- Magic
- Gentle Wave
- Target Hostage
- Attack
- Target Cro
Repeat this pattern until the battle ends.
Healing Tips
If Sarah’s health becomes low:
- Use Magic
- Select Gentle Wave
- Heal Aine
If Sarah is knocked out completely, you’ll have to restart the battle.
After combat, you may ask Sarah any available questions before continuing.
Chapter 16
Watch the Volume 1 Recap.
After that, simply continue through the story.
Chapter 17
Continue reading.
During the conversation, ask the girls anything you’d like.
When finished, select:
- I’m Good
This ends the chapter.
Chapter 18
Continue until Free Roam begins.
Free Roam
Visit every available location to avoid missing optional content.
To continue:

- Select Go Shopping

Chapter 19
Another Free Roam chapter.
Most locations remain the same as Chapter 18.
However, there are new side events at:

To progress, follow this route:

- Mall
- Visit the Café
- Old Neighborhood
- Go See My Parents
Chapter 20
This chapter contains only story scenes.
Chapter 21
Continue through the dialogue.
When Jamie asks for your opinion:
- Choose Good
Avoid selecting:

One important warning:
Do not press THAT button.

Final Tips
- Visit every location in Free Roam whenever possible to avoid missing optional scenes.
- Never skip the Go For It choices when the guide specifically recommends them.
- Complete Free Roam in Chapter 2 fully, as it unlocks extra content much later, in Chapter 35.
- In Chapter 15, make sure to heal Sarah early, rather than waiting until she’s almost out of HP.
- Watch Vol 1 and Vol 2 recap scenes. Both offer useful story context before later chapters.
