SILENT HILL: Townfall – All Endings

SILENT HILL: Townfall – All Endings & Point System Guide

SILENT HILL: Townfall has a hidden point system that decides which ending you will get. Your Discoveries, Simon’s kills, Zoe’s puzzle mistakes, and deaths will affect your final score.

Mainly, you can get three endings in this game: Justice, Forever, and Abandoned.

If you want to reach all the SILENT HILL: Townfall Endings, then this guide will help you to do that.

How the Point System Works

When you are exploring or completing any mission, you’ll see some documents, clues, or other collectibles. You need to collect them to increase your points.

In short, documents and clues you find during the game count as Discoveries. Each Discovery gives you +1 point.

However, some actions can lower your score too.

Here’s how to manage your points:

ActionPoints
1 Discovery+1
1 Simon kill-2
1 Zoe puzzle mistake-3
Death and revive with IV-4

Only Simon kills affect the ending score. Richard and Zoe’s kills do not count toward it.

The results screen shows the total number of kills from all three characters, but the ending calculation only uses the kills Simon made.

Forced Simon Kills

You cannot finish the game without killing some enemies as Simon. There are at least 7 forced Simon kills in a normal playthrough.

These include:

  • 5 crawling enemies in the tunnels during Part 6.
  • 1 crawling enemy after getting the “JOE” key in Part 6.
  • The Weight final boss.

Seven Simon kills give you a total penalty of -14 points.

So, if you make no Zoe puzzle mistakes and never die and revive with an IV, your score will mainly depend on how many Discoveries you collected in your playthrough.

Justice Ending

You need to finish the game with 20 points or more for the Justice ending.

With the 7 forced Simon kills, you lose 14 points. That means you need at least 34 Discoveries if you do not take any other point penalties.

85 Discoveries guarantees the Justice ending under these conditions, as the extra Discoveries give you plenty of points to offset the Simon kill penalty.

Forever Ending

The Forever ending requires a final score between 1 and 19 points.

With 7 Simon kills and no other penalties, this means you can finish with 14 to 33 Discoveries.

  • 14 Discoveries = 0 points, so this is not enough for Forever.
  • 15 Discoveries = 1 point
  • 33 Discoveries = 19 points
  • 34 Discoveries = 20 points, which can put you into the Justice ending.

So, with only the 7 forced Simon kills and no other penalties, 15–33 Discoveries puts you in the Forever range.

Abandoned Ending

You can get the Abandoned ending when your final score is 0 or lower.

With 7 Simon kills and no other penalties, 14 Discoveries will give you exactly 0 points, which is enough for Abandoned.

You can also lower your score further by making Zoe puzzle mistakes during the surgery and hospital chapter or by dying and reviving with an IV.

The score can also be pushed down through additional Simon kills. This gives you more room to reach the Abandoned ending even if you collect more Discoveries.

Quick Ending Breakdown

Assuming you have the 7 forced Simon kills and make no other mistakes:

  • 14 Discoveries or fewer: Abandoned
  • 15–33 Discoveries: Forever
  • 34+ Discoveries: Justice

Your final score is what matters, so Zoe mistakes, deaths with IV revives, and additional Simon kills can change these Discovery ranges.
