While organizing and cleaning in Wand & Order, you’ll come across locked chests. You can’t open these chests right away because they can only be opened with a dedicated key. The keys are hidden nearby, and finding them is worth it because the chests give you power abilities.
These powers can increase your movement speed, let you carry more items, and give you abilities such as Double Jump, Dash, and Cobweb. Some of these upgrades also help you reach places that you couldn’t access before.
Here are all the chest key locations and powers in Wand & Order, along with what you need to do to unlock each one.
Level 1: Cards
Cobweb Ability
You have to find a key and use it to open the chest to get the Cobweb Ability.
Key Location:
Go to the Major Arcana Room, which is the last room in the area.
On the right side of the decorative bush, you’ll find the key lying behind it.
Pick up the key and go to the Minor Arcana Room.
Chest Location:
Interact with the chest in the Minor Arcana Room. Inside, you’ll find a potion.
Drink the potion to unlock the Cobweb Ability.
Movement Speed 1
You can get the first Movement Speed power by watering a mushroom and then eating it.
First, find the water can in the Wardrobe. The Wardrobe is on the right side of the wall, between the two Arcane rooms.
Take the water can to the fountain and interact with it to fill it with water.
Now return to the mushroom in the Major Arcana Room and water it. Once the mushroom grows, interact with it again to eat it and gain Movement Speed 1.
If you miss this power in Level 1, you don’t have to go back. The game automatically gives it to you when you start Level 2.
Complete this level to unlock the 1st floor.
Level 2: Wands
Double Jump
To get the Double Jump power, you need to find another hidden key and chest.
Key Location:
Find the bust shown in the image below and interact with it.
The bust will slide to the right, and you will see the key hidden underneath it.
Chest Location:
Once you have the key, go to the chest and interact with it to open it.
Drink the potion from the chest to unlock the Double Jump ability.
Carry Capacity 1
The next power increases the number of items you can carry at once.
Key Location:
You can find the key on the corner table in the Wand Workshop.
The table has two chairs, and the key is lying on the table.
Interact with the key to pick it up, and now you have to reach the chest that is located higher up.
Chest Location:
Make sure you have the Double Jump ability first. You can’t reach this chest without this ability.
Stand near the same location where you found the key, then turn around and look upward. You’ll see an opening.
Use Double Jump to reach the area, and you will see the chest.
Open the chest with the key to upgrade your carrying capacity from 6 items to 10 items.
Movement Speed 2
You can get the second Movement Speed upgrade by watering the mushroom on the second floor.
Interact with the mushroom after watering it and wait for it to grow. Once it has grown, interact with it again to consume it and gain Movement Speed 2.
If you miss this upgrade in Level 2, the game will automatically give it to you when you begin Level 3.
Level 3: Potions
Carry Capacity 2
The second carrying capacity upgrade is found in the Alchemy Lab.
Key Location:
Find the hidden key on a table. Check the image below for the exact location.
Once you see the key, interact with it to collect it. You can then use this key to open the chest containing the next power.
Chest Location:
Take the key to the corresponding chest. You’ll need to use the Double Jump ability to reach the chest.

Interact with the chest to open it.
Drink the potion from the chest to increase your carrying capacity from 10 items to 15 items.
Dash Power
Key Location:
Find the Dog painting on the wall and interact with it.
The key will fall from behind the painting. Pick it up from the table.
Chest Location:
To reach this chest, you’ll also have to use the Double Jump ability.

Interact with the chest to unlock it.
Once done, drink the potion from the chest to get the Dash power.
