White Knuckle: Amalgamator Crafting Recipes

The Amalgamator is one of the most useful items added to White Knuckle with the shortcut update. It lets you pull nearby items together and turn certain combinations into something else.

That means you can make things like Rebar, Rope Rebar, Handgun, Cryo-Gun, Food Bars, Floppy Disks, Trinkets, and Artifacts without finding each item separately.

Here are the Amalgamator crafting recipes.

How the Amalgamator Works

The Amalgamator can pull nearby items toward you when you hold it open. You have to just point it at the items you want, and they will start getting pulled into the Amalgamator.

Once you have everything needed for a recipe, stop grabbing more items. The Amalgamator will start crafting after a short wait.

It takes around 2 seconds to finish a recipe. Do not pick up another item or close the Amalgamator; otherwise, it will cancel the timer.

You can also grab items from around 10 meters away, which can be handy when you have a bunch of stuff scattered around an area.

One thing that can be confusing for you is the recipe priority. The Amalgamator checks recipes in a specific order, so a combination may make a different item if another recipe has priority over it. This is why some recipes listed below may not work when you expect them to.

Some recipes use the name Scrap, while other lists call the same items empty Bean cans / empty Milk cartons.

For the recipes below, Scrap means an empty Bean can or empty Milk carton.

Basic Items and Navigation

The Piton recipe is very useful if you have spare empty containers. From there, you can turn Pitons into Auto Pitons, Rebar, and eventually a Grapple Piton.

Food and Consumables

Flare, Power Cell, and Explosive Rebar Recipes

The Power Cell and four Flares can be converted back and forth, which can be useful when you need one of them for another recipe.

Ammo and Weapon Recipes

10mm Ammo – 1 Flare + 1 empty Bean can / empty Milk carton + 1 Ruby Roach, Gold Roach, Lemon Roach, or Platinum Roach → 10mm Ammo

Flare Gun – 2 Flares + 2 Spear, Rebar, Rope Rebar, Bone Spear, or Explosive Rebar → Flare Gun

Handgun – 1 Flare Gun + 2 Platinum Roaches + 1 Auto Piton, Grapple Piton, or Piton → Handgun

Cryo-Gun – 3 Platinum Roaches + 1 Cryo-Gun, Flare Gun, or Handgun + 1 Power Cell → Cryo-Gun

A regular Handgun also works for the Cryo-Gun recipe.

Floppy Disk Recipes

The Amalgamator can also upgrade Floppy Disks.

An empty can + note can also produce a Tier 1 Floppy Disk.

Rho Stone – 1 Blink Eye + 2 Bricks → Rho Stone

or 2 Blink Eyes + 1 Brick → Rho Stone

P-Beans – 2 Blink Eyes + 1 Beans → P-Beans

Cleaver – 4 empty Bean cans / empty Milk cartons + 1 Rapier, Auto Piton, Cleaver, Hammer, or Wrench + 1 Blink Eye → Cleaver

Trinket Recipes

Carabiner – 1 Auto Piton, Grapple Piton, or Piton + 4 empty Bean cans / empty Milk cartons → Carabiner

Head Lamp – 1 Scanner, Flare Gun, or Flashlight + 1 Ruby Roach, Gold Roach, Lemon Roach, Platinum Roach, or empty Bean can / empty Milk carton → Head Lamp

Random Trinket – 1 Blink Eye + 1 Paper Note + 1 empty Bean can / empty Milk carton → Random Trinket

Remote – 2 Blink Eyes + 1 Tier 2 Floppy Disk + 1 Platinum Roach → Remote

Spear – 2 Blink Eyes + 3 Spear, Rebar, Rope Rebar, Bone Spear, or Explosive Rebar + 1 Ruby Roach + 1 Flare → Spear

Translocator – 3 Blink Eyes + 3 Gold Roaches / Lemon Roaches + 3 empty Bean cans / empty Milk cartons → Translocator

Timepiece – 2 Blink Eyes + 2 empty Bean cans / empty Milk cartons + 1 Platinum Roach + 1 Tier 1 Floppy Disk → Timepiece

Tier 3 Scanner

The Amalgamator can make a Tier 3 Scanner using:

1 Cryo-Gun, Flare Gun, or Handgun + 1 Trinket + 1 Gold Roach or Lemon Roach

The Trinket cannot be a Strange Disk.
