The Sorting Bureau is a relaxing game where you work at the Bureau, sort boxes, complete orders, and keep your desk organized. As you continue working, you will meet different customers and see new events around your workplace.
While playing, you can also unlock 15 achievements. Most will unlock naturally as you play, but a few require specific choices or actions.
In this guide, I will explain how to unlock all 15 achievements in The Sorting Bureau and point out the ones that are easy to miss.
The First Bit of Order
Complete your first box during the opening part of the game.
This achievement will unlock automatically as you start working through the Bureau.
Someone at the Window
Keep playing until you see the cat at the window.
You do not have to make a special choice or interaction with the cat. Continue working normally, and the achievement will be unlocked.
A Gift from the Bureau
Obtain the album during normal progression.
You will receive it as you continue working through the game, so there is no special requirement to unlock this achievement.
Just Right
When the game asks you to arrange items on the paper, place them neatly in rows with even gaps.
The achievement will unlock once you have arranged everything correctly.
Click
Use the in-game camera to take a picture of the window.
When you get access to the camera, point it at the window and take the picture to unlock the achievement.
First Sip
Choose a drink for the first time.
When you are prompted to select a drink, simply pick any option.
This Way Works Too
When you are offered a drink, choose the option to have nothing.
After making this choice, continue playing until you reach the later section where you can choose the organization yourself.
Matryoshka
Continue playing until you encounter a box inside another box.
There is no special action required. Keep playing through the Bureau until the nested box appears.
Just Sit a While
Sit at your desk without moving or interacting with anything for five minutes.
Simply leave your character at the desk and wait. Do not interact with objects during this time.
After five minutes, the achievement will unlock.
The Quiet Shift
Keep working until the evening.
You will notice the lighting outside change to yellow and the city becoming quieter. The achievement will unlock naturally when you reach this part of the day.
Familiar Faces
Complete orders from eight different customers.
Keep serving orders as you progress. Once you have completed orders for eight different customers, the achievement will unlock.
A Day Together
Choose the correct drink for a specific customer’s order.
Pay attention to the preference of each customer while serving their orders. If the achievement does not unlock right away, continue serving customers and watch their preferences carefully.
A Whole Mountain
When your desk is covered with objects, make sure to clear them.
Keep working until the desk is filled with items. Once that happens, clear everything from the desk.
The achievement will unlock after you completely clean it off.
All Four Windows
Experience all four seasonal window scenes.
The window changes as the game progresses through the seasons:
- Spring: 17 days
- Summer: 22 days
- Autumn: 17 days
- Winter: 14 days
You need to keep playing until you have seen all four seasons.
How to reach the seasons faster?
You can choose the green tea to reduce the number of orders you receive, which can make the day progress faster.
However, this effect is not fully confirmed, so use it as a possible time-saving method rather than a guaranteed mechanic.
The Bureau Waited for You
To get this achievement, you’ll have to change your PC’s date and then load your save.
Follow the steps below carefully:
- Start a new game.
- Open one box.
- Close the game.
- Change the date on your PC to the next day.
- Launch the game again.
- Load your previous save.
That’s it!! The achievement will unlock after loading the save with the changed system date.
Because this method depends on changing your system date, make sure you restore your PC’s date settings afterward.
