How to Fish: “Everyone’s dream” Achievement Guide

To get the “Everyone’s dream” achievement in How to Fish, you need to kill a seagull with dynamite. All you have to do is just use a fish as bait, place dynamite near the fish, and shoot the dynamite when the seagull goes for the fish.

You can also use the dynamite’s fuse, but shooting it is much easier and gives you better control over the explosion.

Here is a step-by-step guide to earn this achievement.

Step 1: Buy Dynamite

First of all, travel to any island except the lighthouse island.

Once you reach the island, buy Dynamite. It will cost $25, so make sure you have enough money before attempting the achievement.

Step 2: Get a Fish for Bait

Next, try to catch any fish. You don’t have to use any special fish to lure the seagulls. In case you want to get specific fish in your inventory, here is the list of Item IDs for the How to Fish game.

Put the fish on the ground where the seagull can easily reach it. The fish will act as bait and attract the birds.

You can also use a teammate’s corpse as bait, but using a fish is the simpler option.

Step 3: Kill the Seagull With Dynamite

Now place one stick of Dynamite near the fish. You can also place three or four if you manage to purchase them.

Move back to a safe zone so the explosion doesn’t kill you. Keep your weapon ready because you will need to shoot the dynamite.

Wait for a seagull to fly down and grab the fish.

As soon as the seagull gets close to the bait, shoot the Dynamite.

The explosion will kill the seagull, and you will get the “Everyone’s dream” achievement.

A Daring Way to Get This Achievement

There is another daring method if you do not want to shoot the dynamite.

1. Take out the Dynamite and light the fuse.
2. Wait until it is almost ready to explode.
3. Switch to another item in your hotbar.
4. The fuse pauses instead of resetting.
5. Place the fish on the ground and wait for a seagull.
6. When the bird grabs the fish, switch back to the Dynamite and throw near the seagull.
7. The paused fuse will finish immediately and detonate.

This method can also damage or kill you if you don’t throw the dynamite before the explosion, so use this at your own risk. The shooting method is safer and easier to control, so I recommend using that one.

The fish will be destroyed by the explosion, so you will need another fish if you want to try again.

Seagulls can also arrive in groups when you place the bait, giving you several chances with one setup.

If you accidentally stand too close and die, you will need another $25 Dynamite for the next attempt.

Once the explosion kills a seagull, the “Everyone’s dream” achievement will unlock.
