ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs is a cozy repair shop game set in 2000s Tokyo. You run a small electronics repair shop where you clean, repair, restore, and sell old devices while meeting different customers and following their stories.
You will work on everything from game consoles and phones to music players and other electronic items. As you progress, you can also buy new tools, unlock repair licenses, take online orders, and improve your shop.
While playing the game, you can also get story-based achievements if you meet the requirements. Some achievements will unlock naturally, while some can be missed if you don’t follow a custom path.
In this ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs Achievements Guide, I’ll explain how to unlock all achievements, including the missable ones and the achievements that are currently bugged.

Clean Job
This is your first achievement in this game, and it is very easy to complete. You just have to clean your work desk and throw useless items into the trash can.
Make sure you also check the left and right sides of the desk. You can access them by changing the camera view.
Make your shop neat and clean, and the achievement will unlock.
First Fix!
While you are getting started with your shop, your landlord, Hashimoto, will visit you with a phone. He has found that phone, and you have to repair it. You can either repair it for free since he is your first customer or charge 7500 yen.
When you successfully clean all the parts of the phone, reassemble it and put it on the shop counter. Your landlord will visit again, give you the money, and this achievement will be unlocked.
Big Cleaning!
For this one, you have to clean 100 parts of any device manually.
You can clean parts while working on normal repair orders. The important thing is that the cleaning must be done yourself with the brush.
Galactic Cleaning!
This one requires you to clean 1,000 parts manually.
There is an important detail with this achievement: the ultrasonic cleaner does not count toward the cleaning counter.
You need to use the cleaning brush and manually remove the dirt from the parts.
You can purchase the cleaning brush upgrades. They will increase the cleaning radius of your brush so you can clean dirty parts much faster.
Master of the Internet / WWW / Internet Business
To unlock these achievements, you need to complete online orders.
First, progress through the story until the bucket guy offers to fix your Internet connection.
After the Internet is fixed, use your computer and open an email through the Outlink Express app. You can then accept online repair orders.
When you accept your first online order, the Master of the Internet achievement will be unlocked.
Complete 25 email orders to get the WWW achievement.
Complete 100 email orders to get the Internet Business achievement.
Make sure customers actually pick up their completed orders so you can get new orders.
If you want to speed up the process, prioritize orders that only require cleaning, or cleaning plus a simple repair. They are usually faster than complicated repairs.
Important: The required order progress is tracked within one playthrough. Don’t think that your progress from different saves will be added.
First Review! / Getting Popular! / Best Shop in Akiba!
When you complete online customer orders, your shop will also start getting reviews.
After buying your first license and repairing the console for the bucket boy, you will receive access to Reviewme.not.
Open that app on your shop computer and check your reviews.
- First Review– Get 5 reviews.
- Getting Popular!– Get 25 reviews.
- Best Shop in Akiba!– Get 50 reviews.
All Bills Paid!
This achievement is unlocked when you start getting bills on your counter.
Take a bill, check the required amount, take the money from your cash register, and put the correct amount inside the envelope.
Return the envelope after paying.
Do this twice to unlock the achievement.
Bankrupt
For this one, don’t pay one of your bills.
When you receive a bill, leave it unpaid and the achievement will unlock.
Twist and Turn
Buy the Professional Screwdriver.
Open Gozilla Fairfox and find the Binotaro shop.
The Professional Screwdriver is the second item in the list and costs ¥11,000.
How Did I Do This?
Keep playing until an Old man offers to repair your electricity in exchange for a repair.
Complete the repair for him. Afterward, he will tell you about a soldering iron.
You can then buy the soldering iron through Gozilla Fairfox → Binotaro.
Making Money!
For this one, purchase items from the Marketplace in Gozilla Fairfox and then resell them.
Make sure to look for items that are already listed as functional. You can also buy dead items, but you’ll have to fix them before you can sell them. This can take extra time and can also slow down your progress.
Always purchase items from Sellers with a good rating. Those items only need some cleaning before you can resell them. This is also a much easier way to build some cash.
Flipper / Garage Sale!
Buy items from the Marketplace and resell them.
When you buy 5 devices from the Marketplace, you’ll earn the Flipper achievement.
When you buy 25 devices from the Marketplace, you’ll get the Garage Sale achievement.
It doesn’t matter whether you purchase a working or dead item. All the items will count towards this achievement, but make sure you are purchasing them in a single playthrough.
Business Shark
You need to earn 100000 yen in a single day for this achievement.
As you progress through the higher license tiers, the repaired items will give you a decent amount.
Millionaire!
Earn 1 Million Yen by repairing or selling items. I think all the money you earn in this game will count toward this achievement.
Hands Free!
Go to Gozilla Fairfox and open the screwdriver category.
Scroll down until you find the ultrasonic baths.
Buy the automatic ultrasonic bath for cleaning. The cheapest model costs around ¥80,000, so make sure you have enough cash.
Shredder
For this achievement, you have to buy a shredder.
Open the screwdriver category inside Gozilla Fairfox, and scroll down until you find the shredder.
The first model costs around ¥70,000.
Origami
This achievement is missable, so make sure you follow each step.
One day a little girl will come to your shop and ask you to repair her Eggotchi. She thinks that it will grow into a big dragon. Make sure you repair it and wait for the delivery person to come and collect it. He will tell you that the girl hasn’t paid and offer to pay for her.
You must refuse the payment and make the repair free for the child.
Later, the delivery person will return and tell you what happened while looking for the girl. He will give you an origami figure she left for him. The achievement will unlock during this sequence.
The origami also gives you a +10 Zen bonus.
Akiba Never Sleeps!
You need to work for 7 days in a row without using the bike to go home.
The bike is on the right side of your shop. Normally, you can use it to save and end the day.
For this achievement, don’t use it. Stay at the shop and continue working for 7 days.
Keep in mind that you won’t receive new orders between 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM, so use that time for other tasks.
Here is also a shortcut for you.
The game has an ending: Globalization, and it skips a two-month in-game time. The game apparently counts this as if you never went home during those two months.
Because of this, the time skip can also unlock the Akiba Never Sleeps achievement.
The same trick can also help with the long-term day achievements such as Employee of the Month, Quarterly Report, and Akiba Feels Like Home.
However, this is not a traditional method, so it could be changed in a future update.
Frugal
Don’t buy any new parts from Packuten for 10 days in a row. Spare-part boxes are fine, so you can still buy those.
You can avoid problems with repair orders by using Marketplace items as your source of spare parts.
This achievement appears to be bugged for some players.
Many players reported unlocking it even after buying spare parts, so you may get the achievement without following the intended requirement.
Cozy! / A Place of Zen
Increase your Zen points by decorating your shop. You can buy something beautiful to make the workshop more cozy.
Decorations can be purchased from Gozilla Fairfox or Binotaro. Click the plant/decorations icon above the website address to find them. The decorations are relatively cheap, and you can buy them as you progress.
When you’ve accumulated more than 100 Zen points, the A Place of Zen achievement will unlock.
Easy Zen Method
You don’t necessarily have to buy all the decorations to increase Zen points.
Whenever a delivery arrives, throw the empty cardboard box into the trash. This gives you +1 Zen point each time.
So you can keep throwing away delivery boxes and slowly increase your Zen points without spending a large amount of money on decorations.
Official Partner
Buy your first license. You can choose any license that is currently unlocked for you.
Golden Partner
Purchase a total of 5 licenses to earn this achievement.
Are You Serious? This Is Absurd!
For this one, you’ve to purchase the most expensive license available in the “Packuten” tab.
Platinum Partner
There are 21 licenses available in the game. Make sure to purchase all of them to get this achievement.
Buying every license costs approximately ¥2,459,000.
Note: Platinum Partner is currently bugged.
Players reported that they purchased all the licenses but only received the Are You Serious? This Is Absurd! achievement.
The achievement itself is broken and should be fixed in a future patch.
If you are missing this achievement after buying everything, don’t worry. Wait for the fix and check the game after the patch.
Lootbox / Gambler
Check the sellers in the Marketplace who are selling complete boxes of spare parts. You may find one or two boxes daily.
These boxes appear from time to time and are usually cheap. Make sure to buy them whenever you see them.
When you purchase the box of parts for the first time, the Lootbox achievement gets unlocked.
For the Gambler achievement, you need to purchase 50 boxes of spare parts from the marketplace.
Hacking 101 / 11001
First, you need to buy the Unlock-ToolKit.
Go to Gozilla Fairfox and stay on the default screwdriver category. Scroll down until you find the Unlock-ToolKit.
After buying it, you will receive an installation CD. Insert the CD into your computer to install the Unlock-ToolKit application.
You can then start accepting jobs that require hacking or reprogramming devices.
When you reprogram a device for the first time, you’ll earn the Hacking 101 achievement.
Reprogram 25 devices to get the Hacking 11001 achievement.
Instant Cool / Instant Cool-er / Sticker Bombing
Buy sticker sheets to unlock sticker-related requests.
Go to Gozilla Fairfox → Binotaro and select the small smiley-face icon. Once you have stickers, you can apply them to repair items.
Apply a sticker on a device for the Instant Cool, 25 stickers for Instant Cool-er, and 100 stickers for the Sticker Bombing achievement.
Here is another shortcut for the Sticker Bombing achievement. You don’t have to apply stickers on 100 different devices.
You can apply multiple stickers on a single device to get this trophy.
However, stacking a huge number of stickers can make the device bulky and may cause bugs or crashes.
Custom Orders Available!
Paint a device by a client’s order for the first time.
You need two things to unlock color customization:
- Airbrush
- Airbrush palette sets
Buy the airbrush from Gozilla Fairfox → Binotaro while using the default category.
For the palettes, open Binotaro and select the color palette icon.
Once you have both items, you can start handling custom color requests.
Promise of Akiba
Keep playing until you get access to the tournament app through your inbox. Install the official Akiba Championship app.
In the Akiba Championship tournaments, you’ll have to assemble devices without using any hint.
You need to remember the correct assembly order yourself. If you make a mistake, you have to start that assembly again.
To unlock this achievement, you need to win in any device assembly competition.
Star of Akiba
This one requires you to win in 3 different device assembly competitions.
Legend of Akiba
For the highest achievement, you’ll have to win in at least 1 assembly competition for each device type.
The devices include:

You don’t have to beat the tournament record. You only need to win the required competitions.
Some players reported the achievement is not popping even they have win the final competition. Restarting the game has unlocked it for some players.
Jack of All Trades
Complete an order that involves painting, cleaning, repair, and hacking.
You’ll have to find the order in which all objectives appear together in the same request. You can get it either online or offline.
For the most of the players, they get this order in the end of the game.
Can You Get It After the Story?
Yes. After finishing the main story, the game switches to an endless/sandbox mode where you can continue working.
Players have confirmed that these types of orders can still appear after the story, although they may take some time to show up.
Employee of the Month
These are long-term day-based achievements. The easiest method is to use your bike to skip days.
If you play through 30 days, you’ll earn this achievement.
Quarterly Report
If you play through 90 days, you’ll earn this achievement.
Akiba Feels Like Home
This one is quite hard because it requires you to play through 365 days to earn this achievment.
To make this easy, don’t take any jobs. Use the bike and start the next day. Repeat this until you reach 365 days.
Make sure you have enough money to pay for your bills.
As mentioned earlier, the Globalization ending’s two-month time skip can also count toward these achievements if it pushes your total number of days high enough.
Melancholy
Missable achievement.
This achievement is tied to Haruhi’s story.
She will come to you and say, “You know what? If you manage to postpone the tournament, I will supply you with free components. In exchange, you will teach me your art! Well, I have to go. Good luck!“
Here are some important choices that you should make:
- Tell Haruhi that you don’t trust the courier.
- Offer to let her stay at your place.
- Complete the repairs for the tourist.
- Talk to Haruhi after the final repair she asks for.
The choice about trusting the courier is especially important. If you tell her that you trust him, her story can take a different direction and the achievement may be missed.
Ronin
Missable achievement.
This is Kaito’s character achievement.
Invite Kaito to stay at your place and continue his story until he discovers the watch and asks you to repair it.
Be careful when inviting other characters.
Only one character can ultimately discover the watch and complete this part of the story. If another character takes over that sequence, Kaito’s story can be cut short.
Also, you need to make the right decisions for Kaito’s story rather than simply throwing the competition.
Ghost in the Frame
Missable achievement.
This is Baketsu’s character achievement.
Invite him to stay at your place and continue his story until he discovers the watch and asks you to repair it.
Just like Ronin, be careful with the other character paths.
If another character discovers the watch first, Baketsu’s story may no longer continue toward this achievement.
Globalization
Missable achievement.
This is the bad ending.
Near the end of the story, Yamato will come to you and explain that the concert is going to be canceled.
Your landlord Hashimoto will then come and say, “Don’t look at me. Those suits cornered me, too. All my accounts are frozen; I’m in the same boat as you.”
He will then offer you two choices.
- Option 1: “Offer to sell the shop to Takumi, and give the profits to organizing the concert”
- Option 2: “Say that maybe it’s for the best. They did promise to pay everyone back once it’s built…”
For the Globalization achievement, you have to choose the second option.
This will trigger the bad ending.
Rock of the Ages!
Missable achievement.
This is the good ending.
When Hashimoto gives you the two choices near the end of the story, choose the first option where you sell your shop to Takumi and donate the money to the concert organizers.
Important Tips for 100% Completion
There are a few things that you should know before you start unlocking every achievement.
Keep Important Progress in One Save
Many achievements track numbers such as:
- Parts cleaned
- Orders completed
- Stickers applied
- Hacking
- Days spent
- Spare-part boxes purchased
This progress is stored per save file and does not combine progress from different playthroughs.
You Don’t Need to Rush the Story
There is no need to rush through the game. After the main story, you can continue playing in the endless mode, so you can finish many of the remaining shop-related achievements afterward.
Character Achievements Are the Tricky Part
The three character achievements — Melancholy, Ronin, and Ghost in the Frame — are the achievements you should plan around.
You can invite multiple characters to your place, but only one of them will find the watch and complete their special story.
Because of this, if you want to get all three character achievements, you’ll need to play multiple playthroughs unless you use a backup save.
You can back up your save close to the end of the story and then reload it for different character paths or endings.
Some Achievements Are Still Bugged
ReStory currently has several achievement-related bugs reported by players.
- Galactic Cleaning — ultrasonic cleaning does not count.
- Frugal — may unlock even if you buy spare parts.
- Platinum Partner — currently reported as broken.
- Legend of Akiba — some players needed to restart the game before it unlocked.
- Some number-based achievements may also unlock after restarting the game.
So if an achievement doesn’t unlock for you, don’t think that you did something wrong. Restart the game and check again.
