The “How Cute” achievement in Sovereign Tower can only be unlocked if you follow a specific route for Arron during Act III. You need Arron to avoid the Dragon Heart ritual, then choose the Empathy option during the Moonvale quest.
Once done, you will get the reward as an achievement. I have created this step-by-step guide to get your hands on the “How Cute” achievement in Sovereign Tower. So follow the steps below carefully and decide whether Arron can keep the baby dragon or not.
Requirements for “How Cute”
Before starting the Moonvale quest, make sure you meet these conditions:
- Arron has not eaten the Dragon Heart
- You have high Empathy for the required dialogue option
- You are in Act III
- You have access to the Moonvale Quest
The Dragon Heart requirement is important. Because if Arron has already eaten it, his behavior will change to aggressive, and the required kindness option will not appear.

How to Get the “How Cute” Achievement?
Choose the Empathy Route in Moonvale
At the beginning of the third Moonvale mission, the game will give you a choice related to the baby dragon.
You can either:
- Kill the baby dragon
- Choose the Empathy option
Make sure you choose the Empathy option for the “How Cute” achievement.
The Empathy choice will start a different quest. Accept that quest to stay on the achievement route.
Take Arron on the Quest
Now your next step is to bring Arron with you.
Arron may dislike your decision, but take him anyway. His presence is required for the unique outcome that leads to the achievement.
Keep playing the quest normally until you reach the outcome.
Get the Dragon Scene With Arron
After completing the quest, the game will give you an audience with Arron.
During this scene, Arron will ask if he can tame the baby dragon.
Let him keep the baby dragon, and this will unlock the “How Cute” achievement.
The same event will also give a new perk to Arron.
Arron’s Dragon Knight Perk
Arron will also receive the Dragon Knight perk after completing this route.
Dragon Knight:
Small bonus on any quest, doubled if the quest involves combat.
The perk works somewhat like Arron’s Berserk perk, but it does not have the downside that Berserk has on quests without combat.
So the Dragon Knight perk will give Arron a useful bonus even when the quest does not involve fighting.
Important: Do Not Eat the Dragon Heart
This is the important part that can easily lock you out of the achievement.
If Arron eats the Dragon Heart, he will become extremely aggressive. Once that happens, the required Empathy or kindness option may no longer appear.
If you have already performed the Dragon Heart ritual with Arron, you may need to:
- Rewind time, if you have that option
- Start the route again in New Game+
- Start a fresh game if you have no earlier save

What About the Dragon Egg and Dragon Mount?
The dragon egg route is different from the achievement route.
You can convince Moonvale to give you the egg and return it to the mother. That route will give you a dragon mount, but equipping Arron with the mount does not count toward “How Cute.”
For this achievement, follow the Empathy route with Arron instead.
There is also a practical difference between the rewards. The Dragon Knight reward is tied to Arron’s character progression, while the dragon mount comes from the separate egg outcome.
Quick Route for the “How Cute” Achievement
Use this order if you only want the achievement:
- Reach Act III.
- Make sure Arron has not eaten the Dragon Heart.
- Start the third Moonvale mission.
- Choose Empathy instead of killing the baby dragon.
- Accept the new quest.
- Take Arron with you, even if he dislikes the choice.
- Complete the quest.
- Attend the event with Arron.
- Keep the scene playing where Arron asks to keep the dragon.
- The “How Cute” achievement will unlock, and Arron will receive Dragon Knight.
If the Empathy option doesn’t appear for you, check the Dragon Heart choice first. That is the main requirement that can stop this route.
