Recently, I played the current Early Access version of Dead as Disco and checked the requirements for the achievements list. Most achievements can be unlocked easily, while others can take some time, especially the 20 five-star Challenges, 2,000 Perfect Dodges, and 1,000 Perfect Counters.
The Midsummer update has also added progress tracking for previous playthroughs. According to the developers, your past play history will also count toward current achievements. Any achievement that you have already earned through previous gameplay will unlock the next time you continue your game.
Dead as Disco Achievements List
The current achievement list is not final. The developers have said that the first achievements focus on basic content that is unlikely to change during Early Access. More difficult achievements will be added in future updates.
Below are some of the current available achievements for the Dead as Disco game.
Basic Achievements
Let’s Dance
Finish the tutorial at the start of the game.
Your previous tutorial progress will also count after the Midsummer update. If the achievement does not unlock, start a new game and complete the tutorial again.
The game has three save slots, so you can use another slot without affecting your main save.
One Hit Wonder
Finish a Challenge without taking any damage
Pick a Challenge that you are comfortable with and focus on avoiding every attack. You do not need a specific star rating for this achievement.
The best Challenge to complete this achievement is Subway Asylum – Hemlock.
Disco Debut
Finish a non-custom Challenge
Go to the level selection through the Exit Sign in the bar.
Choose Infinite Disco (Arcade) and then select Challenges. Pick any standard Challenge and complete its objectives.
Make sure you play a non-custom Challenge. Custom Challenges do not count towards this achievement.
Disco Star
Finish 20 non-custom Challenges
To complete this achievement, you’ll have to finish 20 non-custom Challenges.
Your star rating does not matter here. You only need to finish 20 of them.
Disco Legend
Finish 20 non-custom Challenges with a 5-star rank
This challenge requires you to earn a five-star rank on 20 non-custom Challenges.
Five stars is currently the highest rank available in the game. You do not need a flawless run, but you need enough points to reach the five-star score.
You can choose the timed objective challenges and complete them as quickly as possible to earn extra points.
Bosses Achievements
Why Won’t You Dance With Me
Defeat Arora on any difficulty.
Your star rating does not matter.
Maniac On The Floor
Defeat Hemlock on any difficulty.
You can earn this achievement with any star rating.
Brand New Mission
Defeat Prophet on any difficulty.
You do not need a specific star rating.
Perfection Is Pain
Defeat Dex on any difficulty.
Any star rating will count for the achievement.
Purchase Achievements
Going Galactic
Purchase 4 skills from Arora’s skill tree
Buy all four Singularity upgrades from Arora’s skill tree.
You can access the skill tree from the Boxing Bag station. The four upgrades will cost 9,000 Fans in total.
Reckless Power
Purchase 4 skills from Hemlock’s skill tree
Buy all four Bass Invader upgrades from Hemlock’s skill tree.
These will cost 9,000 Fans.
Chosen One
Purchase 4 skills from Prophet’s skill tree
Buy all four Showstopper upgrades from Prophet’s skill tree.
You’ll need 9,000 Fans to purchase these upgrades.
Imperfect But Acceptable
Purchase 4 skills from Dex’s skill tree
Buy all four Thunderstruck upgrades from Dex’s skill tree.
The total cost is 9,000 Fans.
Lookin’ Good
Purchase a cosmetic
Buy any cosmetic from the Vanity station.
You’ll start with 1,500 Fans after the tutorial. The Casual Hair cosmetic costs only 100 Fans, so it is an easy way to unlock this achievement.
Fashion Icon
Purchase 15 cosmetics from the Vanity station.
The items can be any cosmetics you like. You only need 15 purchases in total.
Performance Achievements
Can’t Touch This
Perform 200 perfect dodges
Security Guards, Moshers, Stardoll Snipers, Surging Echoes, bosses, and elite enemies can use attacks that require a dodge.
Press Space when the dodge circles meet to perform a Perfect Dodge.
You can press the attack button afterward to dash toward the enemy.
Flash Dance
Perform 2,000 perfect dodges
A Custom Wave can be an easy way to complete them. Create a wave with only Stardoll Snipers and set it to repeat.
Do not kill the enemies. Stay in the wave and dodge their attacks.
Press Space when the circles meet. Keep doing this until you reach 2,000 Perfect Dodges.
This method also works for Can’t Touch This achievement.
Break A Leg
Perform 100 perfect counters
Stans, Security Guards, Surging Echoes, bosses, and elite enemies can use attacks that require a counter.
Press RMC when the counter circles meet.
A Perfect Counter can clear the enemy’s health bar with one attack, so use this mechanic whenever you find the opportunity.
Perfect Dance Partner
Perform 1,000 perfect counters
Create a Custom Wave with around 50 Stans. Stand in the middle and let them attack you.
Do not attack them. Wait for their attacks and press RMC at the correct time to perform Perfect Counters.
Repeat the process until the achievement unlocks.
Collectible Achievements
Fixin’ Up The Place
Acquire 10 pieces of memorabilia
Collect 10 pieces of memorabilia.
There are more than 10 collectibles that you can collect in the game.
Sparking Joy
Acquire 30 pieces of memorabilia

Others
Feeling The Flow
Reach a 200 combo
A Custom Wave can complete this achievement easily. Add plenty of Grunts, enable Maintain Spawn Count, increase Fever Generation, and add the Double Time modifier.
Once the wave starts, keep attacking and use Fever Rush whenever possible.
The extra enemies and faster Fever generation will make it easier to keep the combo alive until you reach 200.
Song Crafter
Add a song to My Music
Dead as Disco has a feature for adding your own music to the game. Add a song through the My Music section and complete the music calibration process.
Once the song is added successfully, the achievement will unlock.
Final Words
The current Dead as Disco achievements list is easy to complete compared with what the developers have planned for later Early Access updates.
The main time-consuming achievements are Disco Legend, Flash Dance, and Perfect Dance Partner. Custom Waves can be the best option for the dodge, counter, and combo achievements.
