Funnel Runners 100% Achievements

Funnel Runners 100% Achievements and Unlockables Guide

Funnel Runners has lots of achievements that you can unlock in your normal playthrough, but not all of them unlock by simply playing the game. Some require very specific actions, some depend on random weather events, and a few are currently bugged.

This article covers every Funnel Runner’s achievements in the game, including the easiest way to unlock them. You’ll also find all unlockable uniforms, their bonuses, the current Apex Bunker status, and a few useful community tips that can save you a lot of time while going for 100% completion.

I also pointed out the achievements that don’t track correctly in multiplayer, so you know when it’s better to play as the host or in single-player.

Funnel Runners All Achievements Guide

Basic Achievements

Tire-d

Tire-d

Objective: Change four flat tires on the van.

You need to repair four flat tires across your runs. The repair process always follows the same order.

  1. Find a scissor jack.
  2. Place it beside the damaged tire.
  3. Use the Toolbox to remove the flat tire.
  4. Find a replacement tire.
  5. Install the new tire.

You can check the repair instructions inside the van if you forget any step.

First Day Star

First Day Star

Objective: Complete a repair minigame for the first time.

Finish any repair minigame without failing the skill check. You will almost certainly unlock this during your first match.

First Day Fail

First Day Fail

Objective: Fail a repair minigame for the first time.

Miss a repair skill check once, and the achievement unlocks immediately.

Worst Mechanic

Worst Mechanic

Objective: Fail a repair minigame 15 times.

Every repair uses skill checks similar to Dead by Daylight. The same mechanic goes for breaking open boarded doors with a crowbar too.

Just keep failing the skill checks until you have fifteen failures. Most players unlock this naturally after a few games.

Not This Time

Not This Time

Objective: Fail to escape the city for the first time.

This one is as simple as it sounds.

Die before escaping.

Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf

Objective: Escape the final tornado alone.

Repair the van and leave the city as the only surviving player.

Single-player is the easiest way to earn this achievement. Finish all repairs, start the van, and escape before the final F5 tornado reaches the city.

Around 0.3 to 0.4 km, the tornado siren starts blasting. That is your final warning, so make sure the van is ready before then.

You can also unlock this in multiplayer. Host a lobby, let everyone help repair the van, then remove the other players before leaving alone.

First Escape!

First Escape!

Objective: Escape the final tornado for the first time.

Repair the van before the F5 tornado reaches the city and drive away successfully.

Regular tornadoes are much easier to survive than the final one.

You can crouch behind large trees, stay beside the van, or hide inside buildings with a roof. Most solid objects block the tornado’s pull.

Keep these dangers in mind:

  • Tornadoes can damage buildings while you’re inside.
  • Falling debris can knock you down and deal damage.
  • The van is not completely safe, although the driver’s seat offers the best protection.
  • A tornado can rip the roof off a building. If that happens, it may pull you outside and kill you instantly.

Walker I

Walker I

Objective: Walk 10 km.

Simply keep exploring the map.

Walker II

Walker II

Objective: Walk 50 km.

Continue playing matches until your total distance reaches fifty kilometers.

Walker III

Walker III

Objective: Walk 100 km.

This achievement comes naturally after enough playtime.

Little Treat

Little Treat

Objective: Buy your first item from the vending machine.

Purchase any item once.

The vending machine sits inside the van.

Big Spender

Big Spender

Objective: Spend 100 Apex Tokens.

Big Spender II

Big Spender II

Objective: Spend 500 Apex Tokens.

Big Spender III

Big Spender III

Objective: Spend 1,000 Apex Tokens.

Spend Apex Tokens in the vending machine until you reach each milestone.

The machine sells useful supplies like:

  • Bandages
  • Medkits
  • Other survival items

You collect Apex Tokens throughout the city while exploring.

One important detail catches many players off guard. The vending machine shuts down if you remove the van’s battery. Keep the spare battery nearby before replacing the old one, or you won’t be able to buy anything until power returns.

Current Bug: These achievements may not track correctly for non-hosts in multiplayer. They work properly in single-player and when you host the lobby.

Scavenger I

Scavenger I

Objective: Collect 100 items.

Scavenger II

Scavenger II

Objective: Collect 250 items.

Scavenger III

Scavenger III

Objective: Collect 500 items.

Every item you pick up counts toward these achievements.

Health Pills, Bandages, repair parts, tires, batteries, and other objective items all contribute to your total.

The fastest farming method is simple.

Pick up every item you see, then drop it if you don’t need it. Repeat this throughout the match.

The source doesn’t fully confirm whether Apex Tokens count, but you’ll probably collect them anyway.

Current Bug: Progress may fail to register for non-hosts. Host your own game or play solo if your counter refuses to increase.

Historian I

Historian I

Objective: Collect 10 information collectibles.

Historian II

Historian II

Objective: Collect 50 information collectibles.

Historian III

Historian III

Objective: Collect 100 information collectibles.

These achievements track information-related collectibles found around the city.

Look for:

  • Apex Documents
  • Apex Tapes
  • Newspaper-style documents

Finding them is only half the job.

Take each collectible back to the van and place it inside the cardboard box. Progress updates the moment you store a valid collectible. You do not need to finish the match or escape the tornado for it to count.

Weather-Related Achievements

Weather creates some of the most memorable moments in Funnel Runners. A few achievements unlock naturally, while others depend almost entirely on luck.

High Up

Objective: Get caught by a tornado for the first time.

Eventually, a tornado will grab you. You don’t need to survive it. Just being pulled into one unlocks the achievement.

Electrified

Electrified

Objective: Get struck by lightning for the first time.

This achievement mostly depends on luck.

Stay outside during a thunderstorm and wait until lightning hits you. There is no reliable way to force it, so keep playing until the weather cooperates.

On Fire

On Fire

Objective: Take fire damage for the first time.

Lightning sometimes strikes objects such as trees or trash cans during thunderstorms. Those objects catch fire after the strike.

Walk close enough to a burning object and your character will catch fire. Stay near it until you take damage, then the achievement will unlock.

One funny detail you should know is that fire spreads between players. If you are burning, anyone standing too close can catch fire as well.

The Suck Zone

The Suck Zone

Objective: Throw a dart into a large tornado without it falling to the ground.

Grab a dart from the cup beside the dartboard inside the van.

Wait until a large tornado gets close, then throw the dart directly into it just before the tornado pulls you in.

You can survive this challenge, but sacrificing yourself usually makes it much easier.

Mary Poppins

Mary Poppins

Objective: Get caught by a tornado while holding an umbrella.

Find an umbrella, keep it in your hands, and let a tornado pull you away.

You don’t need any special setup. The tornado’s pull is strong enough that reaching one usually isn’t a problem.

Benjamin, Who?

Benjamin, Who?

Objective: Avoid lightning damage by holding a Portable Conductor when lightning strikes you.

This is easily one of the most luck-based achievements in the game.

Carry a Portable Conductor during thunderstorms and keep playing until lightning finally hits you.

There is no known trick that guarantees a strike, so expect several matches before this one unlocks.

Funnel Runners Achievements

Co-op Achievements

These achievements require at least one other player.

Dead? Me?

Dead? Me?

Objective: Get revived after passing out.

Ask a teammate to revive you with a Defibrillator after you collapse.

Your character stays alive for a short time before the death scene starts. Use those few seconds to tell your teammates where you are.

Your location also appears on the van’s computer and radar, so teammates can track you down even if you cannot describe your position.

Electric Friendship

Electric Friendship

Objective: Shock another player with a Defibrillator.

Use a Defibrillator on one of your teammates instead of reviving them.

It only takes one successful shock to unlock the achievement.

Bulls Eye

Bulls Eye

Objective: Hit the bullseye on the dartboard inside the van.

Stand in front of the dartboard and keep throwing darts until one lands in the center.

This achievement depends more on your aim than anything else.

Funnel Runners Achievements Bulls Eye

Tranquilizer

Tranquilizer

Objective: Hit other players with darts 50 times.

Grab the darts inside the van and throw them at your teammates.

Keep track of your total hits. You need fifty successful hits before the achievement unlocks.

Porcupine

Porcupine

Objective: Have 10 darts stuck in your character at the same time.

Ask a friend to keep throwing darts at you until ten stick.

The darts disappear after a short time, so one player may not throw them fast enough.

It is a lot easier when you have two teammates throwing darts together.

Designated Driver

Designated Driver

Objective: Escape without leaving the van.

This achievement requires teamwork.

Stay inside the van from the beginning of the match until the escape.

Let your teammates handle every repair while you remain inside.

The driver’s seat is the safest place because tornadoes are less likely to pull you out from there.

When the van is fully repaired, drive away with your team.

Do not step outside at any point during the match. That instantly fails the achievement.

Other Achievements

Energy Drunk

Energy Drunk

Objective: Drink five Energy Drinks within one minute.

You need five Energy Drinks before the timer expires.

You have two ways to collect them:

  • Search buildings around the city.
  • Buy them from the vending machine with Apex Tokens.

Drink all five back-to-back. The achievement unlocks as soon as the fifth can is consumed.

Up Here!

Up Here!

Objective: Stand on top of the van for the first time.

The easiest method works every time.

  1. Stand in front of the van.
  2. Jump onto the front bumper.
  3. Open the hood.
  4. Jump onto the hood.
  5. Jump from the hood onto the roof.

If the achievement doesn’t trigger immediately, walk around on the roof for a few seconds. Standing near the engine area usually forces it to register.

Protocol Nerd

Protocol Nerd

Objective: Trigger every protocol tutorial.

This achievement tracks every tutorial entry in the Handbook.

Open the Service Schematic inside the van, then select Handbook. Each completed tutorial displays a small completion icon.

Unfortunately, this achievement is currently inconsistent. Several tutorial entries still fail to register for many players, so you may need to wait for a future update before it unlocks properly.

Community Fix for Protocol Nerd:

Several players reported that they eventually unlocked this achievement by following a few extra steps.

Before starting a match:

  • Leave Hide Tutorial Box unchecked.
  • Make sure Disable Tutorial is turned off in the Interface settings.

Each tutorial only appears when its related event happens during a match.

For example:

  • Open the coolant tank when the van actually needs coolant.
  • Approach a tornado until your character starts resisting its pull.
  • Wait for each weather event to occur before expecting its tutorial.
  • Some weather tutorials trigger from inside the van, while others require you to get hit.

You may need several matches before every repair type and weather condition appears.

Many players reported that the lightning tutorial was the last one to unlock. Some only triggered it after starting a Nightmare difficulty run during a thunderstorm.

Funnel Runner Unlockable Uniforms

Funnel Runners includes several outfits with unique gameplay bonuses.

The Field Operative

The Field Operative

Effect

  • Increases movement speed by 10%.

Unlock Requirement

  • Available by default.

This is the starter outfit and remains useful throughout the game thanks to the permanent speed boost.

The First Ember

The First Ember

Effect

  • Reduces fire damage by 50%.
  • Prevents fire from spreading to nearby teammates.

Unlock Requirement

Stay on fire for a total of 10 minutes.

This is easily one of the longest outfit grinds in the game.

Thunderstorms are not very common, so you have to be patient to find enough things to burn. You also need plenty of healing supplies because you’ll spend most of the grind constantly taking fire damage.

Co-op makes the process easier. Let yourself burn, then have a teammate revive you whenever you go down.

Despite the long grind, the reward feels disappointing. Fire rarely becomes a serious threat during normal gameplay, so most players won’t get much value from this outfit.

Many players hoped it would also reduce environmental damage such as acid rain, but it currently offers no extra protection.

The Life Line

The Life Line

Effect

  • Reduces the Defibrillator inventory size from 3 slots to 2 slots.
  • Highlights nearby dead teammates within a certain range.

Unlock Requirement

Revive 25 players with a Defibrillator.

This is an excellent support outfit for players who usually take the medic role during co-op matches.

The Lawkeeper

The Lawkeeper

Effect

  • Reduces the Crowbar inventory size from 2 slots to 1 slot.
  • Opens boarded doors faster.

Unlock Requirement

Completely remove wooden planks from locked doors 30 times.

This outfit saves inventory space and speeds up one of the most common tasks during exploration.

Apex Bunker

Apex Bunker

While exploring the city, you may find a large Apex bunker door.

Right now, you cannot open it.

The developers confirmed that this area is still under development, so there is currently no way to access whatever is hidden behind the door.

Extra Gameplay Tips from the Community

Players have shared a few useful discoveries that are worth knowing.

Damaged Buildings Can Knock You Out

Many players assume every room inside a building offers the same protection from tornadoes.

That isn’t true.

A room that takes direct tornado damage can knock your character unconscious, ragdoll you, and deal damage.

A room that stays intact remains much safer.

Always pay attention to which part of the building the tornado is destroying instead of assuming the entire structure provides equal protection.

The First Ember Isn’t Worth the Grind

Several players agreed that The First Ember outfit feels underpowered.

Fire rarely becomes a major danger unless you’re deliberately farming the outfit. Most people spend hours unlocking it, then rarely equip it afterward.

Hopefully, future updates improve its bonus and make the long grind feel more rewarding.

Last Words

A large number of Funnel Runners achievements unlock naturally just by playing. The biggest exceptions are the weather-based achievements, co-op challenges, and a few unlockables that require long grinding sessions.

If you’re aiming for 100% completion, play as the host whenever possible. Several achievements still have tracking issues for non-hosts, especially the vending machine and Scavenger milestones.

Take every collectible back to the van, keep an eye on changing weather, and don’t ignore tutorial notifications if you’re chasing Protocol Nerd. A little planning saves dozens of extra matches later.
