You may think that fishing is very easy in Endacopia, but it isn’t. If you want to get the Lost Key, you must catch 18 different fish to complete the collection. The difficult part is that every fish only spawns at a specific time of the day or night. That’s why many players end up missing one or two fish even after spending a lot of time fishing.
In this guide, you’ll find the exact time for every fish, so you don’t have to waste hours fishing at the wrong time cycle. Once you’ve collected all 18 fish, inspect your Fishing Paper again to receive the Lost Key, which unlocks another hidden secret later in the game.
How to Unlock Fishing in Endacopia?
Before you can start fishing, you’ll need the Fishing Paper.
You can find it by using the Metal Detector in the sand. Once you have the paper, you can begin fishing and start filling your collection.
Note: After catching every fish, leave the fishing rod before checking your achievement. Some players reported that the achievement doesn’t unlock until you do this.
How Fishing Works?
There are six time periods in the game.
Each time period has three unique fish. You can catch a total of 18 fish.
- Day 1 – Nautilus, Colisa Lalia, Jantic Fish
- Day 2 – Peter Panini, Seahorse, Singin’ Fish
- Day 3 – Eel, Reddest Fish Ever, Sea Man
- Night 1 – Pirate, Skele-Fish, RC Ship
- Night 2 – Crab, Starfish, Big Worm
- Night 3 – Drawing of a Fish, Jelly, Crate

If you’re missing a fish, make sure you’re fishing during the correct time period.
What Is the ??? Catch?
While fishing, you might catch a blurred human head labeled ???.
You may think that you have found a secret catch, but it doesn’t count toward your fish collection or the I Want To Be A Fisherman achievement. It also doesn’t appear in the Aquarium.
Several players reported that they have found it at different times of the day, so it doesn’t seem to follow the same spawn rules as the regular fish. At the moment, it appears to be nothing more than a creepy jumpscare.
What Do You Get After Catching Every Fish?
Once you collect all 18 fish, inspect the Fishing Paper again.
You’ll receive the Lost Key as your reward.
How to Use the Lost Key?
The Lost Key is used for another hidden secret in Endacopia.
Before you can use it, you must complete the Shack Puzzle. After solving it, switch the game to Windowed Mode and enter the small concrete room. You will find a hidden safe there, and you can unlock it with the Lost Key to reveal more lore.
