Most of the achievements are unlocked naturally by completing the campaign and trying out each game mode. The only ones that might need a little more work are the higher difficulty achievements for Skirmish and Horde Mode.
TFC Campaign Achievements
Ruler of Ancient Age
Requirement: Win a game during the Early Age.
How to unlock: This achievement unlocks automatically when you win the first campaign mission.
Grasping the Fundamental Principles
Requirement: Complete the first Campaign mission.
How to unlock: I unlocked this achievement by completing the opening campaign mission. There are no special requirements.
Master of The Fertile Crescent
Requirement: Complete the Campaign.
How to unlock: Finish every campaign mission. You can play on any available difficulty unless you want an additional challenge.
TFC Civilization Achievements
These achievements require you to win a match while playing as a specific civilization.

Fastest method
Start a simple Skirmish match against an easy AI, select the required civilization, and win. Repeat for each civilization until all three achievements unlock.
Skirmish Achievements
You earn these by defeating the AI on different difficulty levels.

Skirmish strategy

Best Horde Mode Strategy
Play as the Assyrians because it gives you one of the easiest paths to conquer the missions.
1. Expand early
Capture as many settlements as possible during the opening minutes. More settlements increase villager production, which strengthens your economy much faster.
Also capture settlements that improve your overall progression whenever you can.
2. Upgrade villagers
After unlocking Militia, spend your early Knowledge Points on villager damage upgrades.
Your villagers will become your main defenders and will remain useful throughout the match.
3. Prepare for Archer waves
Before enemy Archer waves appear, you should start producing Spearmen.
Upgrade them whenever possible. Spearmen combined with upgraded villagers can handle most attacks without heavy losses.
4. Build the Wonder
If you have enough resources, construct the Wonder.
It provides additional Knowledge Points during the game, which gives you access to important upgrades sooner.
5. Protect your food economy
Keep around 10–15 villagers working at remote food locations instead of placing everyone inside your main base.
Watch the minimap carefully. If a Horde wave heads toward those workers, move them before the enemies arrive. Keeping your food production alive is often the difference between surviving and running out of resources.
